「My siblings and I chose this property for our annual siblings weekend. The cabin was clean, welcoming, and provided everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. We went into town for dinner, went across the street and hiked the trails at Castle rock state Park, and caught several fish right from the deck of the cabin. Would recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a pleasant place to gather and relax.」

「Sandy's location is excellent. Out of the crowded Galena area, but close enough for an easy drive over for the day (about 20 - 25min traffic based). Breakfast was delicious and different every morning - Sandy will work with your dietary restrictions - talk with her about it. The space was large - entire upstairs with it's own kitchen if you prefer to cook your other meals yourself. Deck is lovely with a great view - could hardly believe how many stars in the sky. We enjoyed a fire in the firepit...

「We stayed at the the river house to be close to family in the area. It was just right for our needs. Lots of space to spread out and play games. Beds were comfy and the kitchen well stocked for our meal prep.」

「Very clean and spacious apartment in the center of downtown Elizabeth. Wr had a lovely time The only challenge was intermittent internet access which made streaming movies/tv and phone usage a challenge. Recommended if you want to unplug!」

「This place was so nice stayed for two nights kids begged for a 3rd. Saw turtles,beavers, muskrats. Both kids caught their first fish ever right off the dock. Definite core memories. Beds/bedding were comfy and clean. Beach around the corner. If you need there are public swimming pools near. We went to mt carrol public pool and it was perfect. Have already booked stay for next year!! Thank you!」

「This was the perfect place to stay in Freeport! It was beautiful and was so clean that it felt like we were the first to stay there. It had everything we needed and SO much room, which was great as we were staying with a toddler. There is a family living above, which you could occasionally hear during the day, but it didn’t bother us at all! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and likely will next time we visit family!」
