“Das Hotel war sehr gut und der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Innenstadt von Funchal ist per Fuß erreichbar. Der Garten und auch das Haus haben uns sehr gefallen. Die Terasse, wie auch die Inneneinrichtung sind ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal an der Rezeption und der Zimmerservice waren super nett! Im Restaurant war das leider nicht der Fall. Die Mitarbeiter waren bemüht, allerdings nicht sehr freundlich. Grundsätzlich hat es uns wie gesagt sehr gut gefallen und wir……

“This was a gem of a find. The facilities are slightly dated but the upkeep and condition is excellent. All of the staff that we encountered were superb. We felt that the selection that we had at the restaurant were very good and a good value. We'd recommend this hotel to our family and friends -- we would like to do a return visit ourselves!”

“The room is a bit tired. But everything worked ok. Good shower, a/c etc. The front desk staff were all really friendly and helpful. The best thing about this Hotel is its position. Perfect for getting about Funchal.”

“A bit cramped but for exploring Funchal the location is excellent- we booked a room with a double bed and got a room with two singles which spoilt our arrival but we got a double bed the next night after contacting Expedia. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but it sufficed”
