“The people who operate this property are amazing. They were very good to me the whole time I stayed here. One time something was wrong with my lock on the door and I couldn't get into my room. They got their mechanic there to fix it for me immediately. I felt very safe and supported. My room was clean. I would definitely stay at this property again.”

“Darren, the homeowner and innkeeper, met us at the door to this lovely home/inn. He welcomed us with a smile and conversation about the history behind Sassafras Inn and Mena, We sat and visited for about an hour. Our suite was extremely large, (2 rooms), complete with coffee and refrigerator. He then provided us with his homemade, organic blueberry muffins that were to die for. Very cozy atmosphere and a soft bed was just the remedy for a long day in the road. Highly recommend this wonderful……

“We stayed 1 night in this unit at the historic Shaver House in Mena, AR. It was super cute and great for a 1-night stay. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious - especially warmed up a little in the microwave! The unit is in a shed-type building in the backyard of this restored historic home. It is essentially a bedroom (with a microwave, minifridge, coffeemaker and TV) and a bathroom. There is not a lot of room to move around inside the shed. The outside area is fantastic - a big fire pit,……

“Had a wonderful stay at this adorable tiny house. Coffee by the stream, relaxing and peaceful stay. Rode the trails at Wolf Pen Gap with easy access. Will definitely stay here again!”

“Came well equipped with what you need. No tv or internet available and there is no cell service so you are off grid for the weekend which was nice. Thomas greeted us and was very friendly. We had plenty of room to park our trailer and sxs. It felt very secure while we were out riding for the weekend.”
