“Not a lot to do in montigue but the stay was good. We had to drive to Pentwater to find a good beach and great shopping. Not the hotels fault.”

“We arrived at 8pm and the door to check in was locked. So I had to check my email to see if they send me anything about checking in after 3pm. They did. They sent me a code to my room and my room number. We had to log into Netflix with our own account and pray that when we left it logged us out. The parking lot was super small and then it rains it was flooded. The room was clean and nice. I just thought maybe it was going to mini cottages not like a small motel. “Super friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast buffet was clean and well stocked. Food was decent for that type of buffet - very fresh. Hotel could use cosmetic updates and you do not get cleaning staff every day - but it's an economy hotel and the staff is more than willing to provide extra towels, toiletries, etc. If you ask. ”

“The room and bathroom need a serious remodel . They also need a good cleaning . I understand that this is a pet friendly room , but isn’t that why we pay $20 a night for (a little extra cleaning) ? I have never stayed in a room without some sort of coffee maker , although they do have coffee in reception area . They categorize this as a no frills hotel , a great description . ”

“Older motel and room was nice. Had nice wood plank flooring, clean, comfortable bed, small bathroom. Shower had new shower head. Water does have an odor of sulfur that is not uncommon to this area. Bring your own bottled water for drinking. Room had nice TV, small fridge and microwave. And a coffee maker. Air conditioner worked very well. Free wifi. Park style grills available for use. You provide the charcoal. ”

“The cabin was clean, comfortable and super cute. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Furniture and linens were very good quality. This was a perfect space for our multigenerational family to stay when in town for a wedding in nearby New Era. It was also convenient for short trips to Silver Lake and Duck Lake State Park between the festivities. “The cabin was really nice. It stayed plenty warm for us the couple days we stayed there. The only downside is you can hear every footstep and whisper anywhere in the cabin. We didn't think to bring our own box fans for background noise, but it would have been nice if there were some provided. And the water smelled horribly like sulfur, we had to go buy our own water.”
