「This place is better than described. It’s cozy and has anything you need for a getaway besides shower supplies. Close to the Mammoth Cave National Park: take the ferry route, is just 20 minutes. We had the chance to see the fireflies just from the deck. It’s lake access, and also this place has copious water gears, including kayaks. Corlynn and Joe are wonderful people, very helpful.」

「We were in for my daughter's college graduation and while this was a 30 minute drive it was great to get away and be in the country on the lake. The house was exactly as portrayed, if not better. It had everything you needed from the kitchen to all the toys. Highly, highly recommend if you're looking to have a nice get away in the country.」

「Cleanliness was above. It rained hard one day, but to sit on the porch and smell and listen to it was what I needed. The big surprise was there were feral cats, and it made me feel like I was home. The worst part was having only three days, and I had to leave. Thank you again. I am looking forward to many more stays.」

「The property was very nice and clean. I was a little misled with location information. We were looking for something close to mammoth cave and the listing stated 16 minute drive, we couldn’t find that route and it was more like 45 minutes. Maybe if we took the green river ferry but it was only open from 8-6.」

「This house is in a very peaceful area. House was clean and comfortable. Loved the sunroom. Due to high water levels it was difficult to use the dock. Lost power, but it was restored quickly. Kitchen is nice and well-stocked. Pans are in rough shape. You definitely need to bring food to cook as there is no place close to eat out or get groceries. We enjoyed Nolin Lake State Park and Mammoth Cave State Park. Overall a nice stay.」

「Downtown Browntown was perfect for myself and my two kids. We loved the hot tub and Gary and Jackie were so kind and friendly, inviting us to join them for Easter cookout since no restaurants were open due to the Easter holiday. The place is conveniently located and a quick drive to Mammoth Cave and area attractions. The apartment is well maintained and fully equipped for cooking. We had a great time and would definitely stay again for our next trip to the national park!」

「Mike thank u for hosting. Great week and weather. Really enjoyed the rental. As disclosed the single BR had us on a schedule but no issues! Lower level access challenging for mobility impaired with stairs. Mike met us on Saturday and gave some Great tips about lake conditions. View without comparison. Well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Lots Of space. We fish so did not use TV or Wi fi. Would rent with Mike again and Plan too make this place our new annual gathering place.」

「Loved the covered deck especially since it mostly rained while we were there. Nice grill and grill utensils. The power went out the first evening so we were thankful for the candles. We were traveling with our 3 adult children, so we loved having 2 beds in the third bedroom— this is not easy to find elsewhere.」

「The house was very reasonably priced so we did not go with high expectations. The location is great with spectacular views of Barren Lake. Everything is very simple with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The rental was clean and comfortable. It could use updating but for the price it is more than reasonable and I can completely understand the owners not wanting to invest. Altogether we had a great time. Thank you」
