Welcome to our updated 3 BR/2 BA lakefront home on 1.3 acres in Brier Creek - perfect for your family getaway! This property can be used year round! In the summer enjoy all the lake has to offer boating, fishing, swimming, water sports, or just floating the day away off the dock. The state park is less than 1mile away with a boat ramp, beach/play area, and miles of hiking/biking trails. If you want to enjoy some activities off of the water, Mammoth Cave National Park is about 38 minutes away, and the area has golf courses and horseback riding.

In fall and winter take in the beautiful colors while the leaves change and cozy up to a wood burning fireplace.

The open concept living space includes a beautiful modern kitchen with a large island, ideal for a quick snack or lunch before getting back out on the lake. The kitchen opens to spacious family room with a stone fireplace and large sectional made for watching movies with the family after a long day in your own giant cove. It really feels like being on the big water without all of the traffic.

The 10 x 26ft sunroom with floor to ceiling windows facing the lake is its own oasis. It has a custom dining table that seats 10 so your whole clan can sit down for a meal together. The sunroom sectional is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine looking over the serenity of the lake in what feels like your own adult treehouse. There is also a 20 x 25 foot covered porch perfect for dining alfresco and a deck off the front door for drying all of your lake gear.

When you are fully relaxed and ready to turn in, choose from a king bedroom, queen bedroom, or bunk room with 4 XL twin beds.

It was a beautiful area and the view from the cabin was stunning! The cabin is comfortable and stocked very well. Bedding and towels are clean and enough. Easy check in and check out. Will stay here again!

We booked literally days prior to the Govt. shutdown to visit Mammoth Cave. Here is my honest breakdown…1. Mammoth Cave: The drive is a good 40m. 2. Check-in: We arrived at 4:30p (30m after check-in time) and the housekeeper was still there. We waited an extra 20min or so. Didn’t contact owners. We are flexible. It happens. 3. Inside Cleanliness: Average to below average overall inside. Sunroom couch isn’t the cleanest; found orange peels under main living room couch; coffee maker had old coffee grounds left in coffee maker; bathroom had no exhaust, so mold was present in shower area. 4. Outside / Grounds: Many areas of concern. Nests on wraparound porch; wraparound porch ceiling in shambles in locations; soffits rotting in places; the decking on pier rotting. 5. Neighborhood: quiet overall but nothing around to do/explore. 6. Other: The main door lock was terrible. No idea if it was locked or not. Finally, we encountered a large spider that, I’m sure may be common in Kentucky, but it was a jolt to the system because it crawled over us in bed. Overall, it was an average stay.

Spacious and clean. Covered wrap around deck with furniture provided great outdoor space for meals and games. Kitchen and island well stocked with air fryer, crockpot, etc.. Comfortable and cozy. Fireplace and fire pit awesome. Great views. Stairs to lake in poor condition but we managed down to enjoy beautiful mornings sitting on the dock with our coffee. Plenty of back yard to play outside games. Close to tourist locations. Highly recommend this lovely, spacious lake cabin.

This property was private and very beautiful. We stayed with our two young children and they loved it. We were disappointed to learn the state park was closed as that was part of the draw to this property. The house itself was perfect! We loved the sunroom. It was plenty of space and move extras in the garage! Very easy check-in and was easy to find. We would love to come back when the state park is actually open.

We loved our stay here- host was very quick to respond and take care of us, and the house was clean, cozy and comfortable. We never felt the need to go anywhere, we just stayed on the lake the whole time! The toys and lake things made it a wonderful trip for our kids. We’ll be back!

Outside - private, spacious, quiet, peaceful. Would definitely stay here again if vacation in area again. Inside felt spacious and comfortable.Received code in email with other details. Found everything as expected from the descriptions - hardest part was finding correct light switches - so no complaints! LOVED ceiling fans everywhere!House was clean and cool when we arrived, with nice candle scent. Lived-in house, but being kept up well.Kitchen - Sufficient cups, silverware, etc for our 7 adults. LOVE the big island - especially for serving food and unpacking groceries. TV area - all seven (not slim) adults fit on the sectional to watch TV! Sunroom - loved all the windows with view of lake! The table and benches were perfect for us to eat together, sectional at other end was almost always occupied. Deck areas were nice spaces where I just sat and sighed at the peace. Lake - Mostly calm, could float without tying on. You must use stairs to go down the hill, and decent balance control for last few steps and floating dock. But worked fine for us.We thoroughly enjoyed floating in the lake, and two never-before paddle boarders were able to cross the narrow lake. Very small shore with rocks, but worked OK for us. We totally enjoyed our time there. One shower is small (I've been in smaller) but the other was a good size. Bunk beds worked great for our tall young adult sons. Also enjoyed a day at Mammoth caves and visit to Kentucky Down Under on the way home.

The house was great for relaxing. The dock was great fun for the kids and the sunroom was great to see the veiw of the lake and nature. Very quiet. Tasha, the housekeeper was wonderful, and the house was clean.

Awesome lake house! We loved the proximity to the lake and how well stocked the house was with kayaks, paddleboards, floats, life jackets. When we weren't out on the lake, we enjoyed sitting on the indoor and outdoor porches, making s'mores at the fire pit and cooking in the kitchen that had everything we needed and more!A great house for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids.

The place is beautifully clean. Fully stocked kitchen. The kitchen is like you didnt even leave your own home. I would recommend they turn the heat up on the hot water. Some night time lights around the doc area would also be great. We will be back its so peaceful and beautiful

Wonderful lake getaway

We stopped here on our way home from another location and immediately i wished i had booked my entire vacation at this location. The house is amazing, the lake was great. The water was high at the time but we still enjoyed it. The owners offered a variety of water toys for adults and children which was such a blessing and convenience. The house was perfect if you have smaller children. The firepit was awesome. I absolutely loved this place. It was so peaceful. I am hoping to return again soon.

We loved the quiet neighborhood, the huge front room of windows looking out to the lake. Dry, cut firewood was ready for the firepit. Big kitchen opening into living room great for family time. Sadly, the storms and extreme flooding right before out stay made the dock inaccessible. Of course, this was not the owner's fault, but fishing and sitting on the dock had been part of our plans.

Nice getaway with room to stretch out

My family of 4 stayed for our spring break week. We enjoyed the water, the dock, the boats, and the quiet. It is quite a distance to drive to any services, so we were well-stocked, but still drove a lot, visiting Mammoth Cave and Bowling Green. We also waited out 7 inches of rain over the last two days, but we were still comfortable and able to spread out enough to tolerate the time spent mostly inside. Covered outside space was especially appreciated during the storms.

Family Time

Went to start our year off right with family time! Daughter wanted to see snow as well. On thr very last day we got to see it in abundance. Very spacious house with plenty of sleeping . Gorgeous view of the lake! Had all we needed! Thank you! Will love to stay again!
