「I liked that the cabin is fairly isolated. It was a great location to watch and photograph the Perseid meteor shower. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I did not like is the lack of running water at the cabin. A very minor issue for me as someone who has done a lot of camping. I would definitely consider staying here again some time. 」

「Dan was super nice and accommodating. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, look elsewhere. It you want a large, clean farmhouse, this place is for you. Being a working family farm, expect to see a tractor or two going in and out. We really enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch with a book watching the cows. Lilly, the family's dog, was super friendly and may come to visit you. We will definitely go back! Thanks again Dan!」

「The property is beautiful and the donkeys, cows, dogs, and cats were all so wonderful to be able to see and visit. The property owners are lovely - we got to have some good conversations with them. It’s tucked away in the country which is exactly what we wanted, but it’s only a 10 minute drive to Forestville for fishing, and 30 minutes to Lanesboro for the shops and restaurants. We had an amazing time and will definitely book here again. 」

「It was perfect for our family reunion. We had a gathering on Thursday evening… a memorial time for 2 members of the family who passed away earlier this year. And a pot luck on Sunday with many of the family attending. The 3 car garage was great, as the weather was a bit windy & cool, especially, on Thursday evening, so we had to close the garage door. It’s a very nice place.」
