Expedia listing says pool hours are until 11. We were told after check in that the hotel has new owners and pool is closed at 7. Hotel bar AND pool bar both closed. Air conditioning would not cool room off. Very cute hotel and room, but would not recommend if you are going for pool or bars.

Where to start. First the restaurant and bars are closed due to changing owners. Came in one night and the elevator and lobby smelled like weed. The first night there was gunfire twice (there is a club around the corner). Police and sirens everywhere. Was terrified to go out after dark. Could hear people arguing outside at 4am. They don’t clean the rooms daily nor tell you that they don’t. No pool towels. Had a beverage cooler that was empty with no water and didn’t want to go out at night (we had kids). Would NEVER go here again.

We got upgraded to a better and bigger room after complaining about lack of amenities so we appreciated that. We asked for clean towels, never rec'd so had to go to front desk next morning.

Out of the properties control but I would never stay here again. The surrounding area was extremely dangerous. Was awok en by multiple gun shots at 3:30am and witnessed someone being killed - confirmed via multiple news outlets. I should have done more research on the area. The staff was very friendly and accommodating during the check in. The room itself was nice but bedding was not the cleanest.

The staff didn’t have my reserved room ready even 2 hours after normal check in hours & they didn’t seem to care. The lady was very unprofessional & was picking at her belly button while talking to us. Staff was unprofessional & rude.

Most of the amenities were closed.The rooftop bar and the lobby bar were closed. The pool closed early at 7pm, so I didn’t get to enjoy the nice night time view. The restaurant in the lobby was also closed. I stayed two nights there.

This is a lovely hotel where I had a wonderful stay in 2019. The hotel is still the same lovely building, and the staff are warm and accommodating and helpful. The disappointment was that the hotel was undergoing a change in ownership when we were there and there had been a kitchen fire so both the memorable bar service and excellent food were missing. I enjoyed the stay anyway but was disappointed about these matters.

The staff was A ! Rooms were clean and welcoming. We were only there one night for a concert so we didn’t use any of the other facilities except our room and valet parking. One of the reasons we picked this hotel was for its proximity to the Enterprise center. It was very close however it didn’t feel safe enough to walk.

This is a beautiful property however it was misrepresented on Expedia as having a restaurant and pool area bar. The restaurant has been closed for some time and the rooftop bar is closed as well. The worst part of this stay was a homeless woman right across the street from the property who wailed, screamed, cried ALL NIGHT LONG for four nights. When we asked to be moved the only rooms with 2 beds were facing the street and they would not let us out of our reservation as we tried to change our Hotel after the first. VERY POOR SERVICE from EXPEDIA who I give a F- for not resolving.

The rooms are very unique and the hotel itself is classier feeling, however, the rooms could use a deep clean as they are quite dirty. The television didn’t work for the entire length of our stay, which wasn’t that big of a deal but a nuisance nonetheless. What I didn’t like the most is paying $40 per day for parking and the hotel didn’t validate my parking ticket. I believe it should be disclosed there is no on site parking prior to booking. It will definitely sway my decision to return In the future.

STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. The bad reviews you read are true. I think they leave fake good reviews too. Bed sheets had hair and dirt on them. Looks like they hadnt been changed, just remade to look like they had been. Bathroom smelled nasty. When we asked for replacement sheets it took an hour and two calls. A young brough them to the room, threw them on the bed and said “have a nice night”. We had to make the bed ourselves and slept with no duvet and one pillow each. They Refused Expedias attempt to get us a refund and then ignored my calls. The GM wouldn’t return my calls so Im leaving the review I told them I would leave if they ignored my calls

This review is far from accurate, this is a very unstable person that had to be escorted out by security when he did not get his way. It is not possible to post a review unless you stayed at the property, via the 3rd party booking agent. So this a person who paid less than 140 a night on a Saturday night, in sold out St Louis, is complaining that the room they reserved with a third party was not up to their standards. Like he even says just look at our other reviews, they tell a much different story and what a true experience is like at The Last Hotel is like, the finest boutique hotel in St Louis. I hope this person gets the Mental Help they need.

I loved my junior suite! The huge windows, high unfinished ceilings and tasteful decorations won me over. Very noisy at night, but that’s due to sirens and loud vehicles not the hotel’s fault. They supply ear plugs for this reason. Would absolutely stay here again. Rooftop pool, bar and fantastic views just adds to the loveliness of this hotel.

This Building is Historic. It's the former Headquarters of the International Shoe Company. The Federal Government as part of their restoration program would not allow us to touch the ceilings. We do our best to vacuum as much as possible and its non-toxic. I am really sorry something like that ruined your stay. Its a very special Building.

This is a nice hotel in a good area to see a ball game at Wrigley field. But make sure you come in early to check in because there isn't a person working the front desk all the time. They bring you plenty of waters and cokes. The front door locks automatically which is good to keep drunk people out after the games, because there is a lot of sports bars in this area. The bad thing about the door locking is what I mentioned about checking in. I did see a lock box outside so you could probably call the lady during regular hours and have her put your key out there.

We loved our stay at the Last Hotel. The kids especially loved the rooftop pool- heated enough for them to still swim in the 45 degree morning weather! The service was top notch.

The property would seem to tout itself as a high-end hotel. I would certainly not classify it as such. One of the noticeable attractions would be the rooftop swimming pool. I might understand if the pool itself were not available after a certain time, but closing the whole thing down and making it unavailable after 8 PM, when it's not even fully dark seems excessive. Several of the walls had items that had been removed but not patched. Overall, I was disappointed in the hotel and would not recommend it.

There is no Lifeguard on duty. What if you hit your head and drown? We are being extremely responsible. The weather has not called for the Pool to Nighttime hours when it's cold. Even though we heat the Pool.

This was my second visit. It was such a fun experience and i love boutique hotels. This one is exceptional. My only criticism was the restaurant was closed due to a fire! But the staff was lovely and the hotel is fascinating!

I really liked this hotel. Check in was a breeze. Easy walk to the dome for a football game. Only minor hiccup, no remote for the TV, this was remedied w in 5 minutes of a call to the front desk. The only other thing I'd suggest is, cream/sugar packets for the coffee station. They also had several cool books about local history in the room. I spend a lot of time in hotels. Solid 9 out of 10. Good work folks.

Check in experience was horrible waited 45 min for a room to be clean the had just started cleaning at 3pm we arrived on time room wasn't ready front desk did her best wuth what she had but in my opinion it's extremely unprofessional not to have a room available at check-in and have a guest wait 45 min and offer no accommodations.

The staff for the most part was good. The day of check our the front desk clerk was also the person who had to retrieve my car. I don't think I even saw another guest the whole time I was there. Maybe it's because they require a $200 deposit/ incidentals that I didn't find out about until check in. Highly disappointed

It is just a hold on your card, not a charge; it falls off when you check out. An incidental hold is common in nice hotels. It ensures no one is smoking, having a party, or ruining the room and stay for others.
