Stayed for 4 nights. Great location. Bice and healthy breakfast every morning. Staffs are very helpful. Ms. Liu helped me to communicate with a local shop and solved an item return issue. I had to dispose a broken suitcase and paid 2000jpy to the hotel. This is understandable as Japan has strict trash-disposing regulation.Overall, happy with my stay.

Overall a pretty good budget hotel for single travelers that's a step up from the APA standard next door. Bed was comfy. It's right next to Ueno Station so it's easy to get anywhere. Breakfast was a bit varied each morning I had it and usually had a form of eggs and some meat, not just bread, I liked it. Two combo wash dry machines on-premise were convenient, though like many dryers outside of laundromats in Japan don't expect it to fully dry things. One downside for longer stays is that they have a policy of having you change rooms after 10 days. I'm sure it helps keep up the overall cleanliness but it's annoying to have to pack everything up just to move a couple doors down.

The mattress is great. I re-visit the hotel based on this. There is very hard to find a hotel with good mattress in this budget. If the offer from Eco housekeeping can be more attractive that would be great. The hotel already comes with the free welcome drink, so maybe some snack would be better. :)

Clean and well organized business hotel. Good location very close to station. Free breakfast and breakfast area were very nice. Rates are a bit high relative to other hotels. Seems to have more tourism related rules and protocols than other hotels.

I had a 2 nights staying. It was good. Includes breakfast, not a lot of options to eat and drink. Well located, very close to Ueno Station and its multiple entrances. There is a guy at front desk who is very helpful, helped me with the route to Haneda Airport and Narita Airport.

Great location very close to train station. Complimentary breakfast was nice with both hot and cold item with coffee and juice. Express check out is very convenience.

Small but clean and convenient
The location is great. Very small room though. I had a 5 year old with me so availability of the bigger bed (140cm wide) was great. They were opened in 2014 and the building was clean and nice. Free breakfast was a nice addition too. We didn’t use but I saw that they have a laundry room too. We stayed there on Saturday night and Sunday night. Black crows were so loud first night, it woke us up. The same didn’t happen the following night. It is 5 min walk from Ueno station (elevators and escalators available for those who has suitcases and strollers) and less than 1 min walk to 7-Eleven. Very convenient.

Functional hotel for a solo traveller in Ueno.
The hotel is quite new and tucked away along a quiet street near to Ueno Park, Ueno JR Train Station and the Ameyoko Night Market (all within a 10-15 minutes walk). Train and subway network are all nearby for convenience. The room is quite small but nonetheless neat and tidy. Only Japanese TV channels are available. The front desk is manned by a team of uneven English capabilities but enough to get simple queries done. The Hotel seems to be favoured equally by both local business travellers and tourists. My room's window has a great view of the Tokyo Skytree. Breakfast is included - simple - a mix of Western and Japanese elements - but functional.

Very good location - close to Ueno rail station with loads of shops nearby. The room was a little small - not too much room to fit the suitcase in. Nevertheless my stay was reasonably comfortable.

It was fantastic. A bit on the smaller side, but that's what you can expect for most hotels in Japan. Clean and simple. They had the best western continental breakfast that I have ever had!! So tasty!

Great value and convenience
We stayed here for two nights at the end of our 3 week Japan trip. It was a great value for the price, and I recommend it if you are interested in taking advantage of neighborhood resources - like Ueno Park and the lovely Ueno Zoo, both in walking distance, tons of shops and restaurants in the area, Tokyo National Museum, and the Narita Express which is a train line that goes straight to the airport from the neighborhood. A very convenient place to stay at the start or end of your trip. The hotel was basic but very comfortable, with conveniences like breakfast, coffee and ice water provided that made our stay more pleasant.
