「A lovely stay, the private apartment had everything we needed for our two night stay. Although an older interior it was functional, clean and had all that we needed….. including a Wood fire and spa bath . But it was the little extras, robes to wear, slippers and some bath salts made the stay even more special. LOVED the continental breakfast, beautiful warm bread and danishes…. Yum. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Host was lovely and friendly. 」

「Rose Cottage had a small fridge but it was generously stocked for breakfast items for the 6 nights of our stay. Location is good. There was pet hair and pet odour on the sofa which we cleaned. The pillow protectors and pillows were stained and not very comfortable. Spa was good. Television was very small and not all channels could be received due to its age. An extra towel rail in the bathroom would have been handy given extra towels used for the spa and for swimming nearby. Rose Cottage...

「House was very cold. Need woolen blankets on the bed. Cotton waffle blanket is not warm enough. Window in the main bathroom needs to be fully frosted glass, instead of just half. The top half of the bathroom window is not frosted. One can be seen from the road that runs along the house. Had to squat in the shower, not to be seen. Everything else OK.」

「Nice property, lovely little cottage. Nice extras such as the robes, appreciated as it was cold weather. Fire was great and had back up heating with the split system. Hosts were responsive, we only have one suggestion, a sandwhich press to make toasties, by the fire 😊 We enjoyed our stay comfy bed, nice linen very clean, we will be back. Thank you」

「We booked the property for a weekend to celebrate a 30th. Only good things to say about this property and the host, Frank. Everything as pictured in the listing. The property has some of the most incredible views I’ve seen. Despite its location, you really feel secluded. The entertainment room was the perfect space for everyone to be together and do what they wanted and it was so spacious. The pond is a natural pool which was amazing! Host was very responsive and kind.」
