「It was the only convenient hotel that was reasonably priced on our way to Leeds, but was the perfect overnight stop. It was located at the small motorway services, the rooms were fine. As expected there is not many plug sockets but I always travel with an extension lead so that always helps! The beds were clean and comfortable and would stay here again. 」

「No lift to the upper floor, not mentioned or if it was not prominently enough. My partner has mobility issues and two flights of stairs is painful and very inconvenient!」

「Friendly staff all round especially the Receptionist.who checked us in (sorry-- I have forgotten her name) Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean.Dinner was excellent although menu was a little restricted. A few healthier choices involving Salad would have been welcome. Breakfast exceeded expectations as we thought the buffet would be more like a continental breakfast but in fact included bacon,scrambled eggs,sausage,tomato and hash browns. Well done!!」

「 This hotel is certainly outdated and in need of a refurbishment. That said the room was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lunch which was good with a selection for vegetarian and lovely puddings. This is an ideal place for walkers or cyclists who maybe on a limited budget but want privacy and a lovely warm bath at the end of a day on the Pennines. 」

「This hotel was perfect for our stay. The room was clean and roomy. Bathroom with shower large and modern. Every member of staff that we came across was polite, helpful and friendly. A special mention for Bassam on reception. When we arrived to check in he was dealing with a very awkward and irate guest (who was completely in the wrong). Bassam dealt with everything in a most professional, calm and polite manner.」

「The Huntsman Inn is a beautiful property with amazing staff and incredible views. The place was very well maintained and the staff were incredibly wonderful and friendly. It's a shame we only stayed one night and would love to go back here again. The room was cost and warm, the food was good and was definitely worth the trip. 」

「Lovely hotel. Old fashioned feel and really nice decor. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Only reframe is not spending more time in it to enjoy it. The area is very picturesque so if you’re visiting definitely check this out as it has a really lovely classy feel. 」
