「The Hilltop House is a special place. The views from the house in winter are magical. Watching the various shades of pink come in over the bay to the East while sipping coffee was a daily highlight. Sitting in our own geothermal hot tub while watching the Northern Lights dance is something our boys will never forget. The host is very responsive. Having the Hvammsvik springs a few hundred meters away was awesome, we visited those springs twice and stopped by the restaurant each night for a drink....

「This place was simply amazing! There was a very small issue with our booking and instead of staying in the lake house we were moved to the hilltop house and all I can say is WOW! The property in general is just incredible with 360 degree views. The hot springs were so relaxing. The hilltop house sits on a hill and you can’t get enough of the scenery. The house was stocked with everything we needed to cook dinner (no microwave which was fine) and we had plenty of space with our family of four....

「Perfect location for our first trip to Iceland for our exploration of Southern Iceland. Honestly cannot think of a thing that we needed that wasn't provided. If I had a wish list, it would have been nice to have an extra bathroom but we made it work just fine. I would highly recommend.」
