「The property has impressive views even with overcast skies, very relaxing layout, and off the busy streets, so its quiet. Ventura is a nice city with everything nearby and plenty to do. We loved being able to pop back forth with all the different events, and the home is just up the hill. 「Our stay at the beach cottage was absolutely exquisite with a minor hiccup at the beginning of our stay. When we checked in, the cottage had not been cleaned up after the last guests, damp towels and linens on the floor, beds unmade and trash left in the wastebaskets. We called housekeeping, and they responded quickly. A team arrived within 30 minutes and throughly cleaned the house. Therefore a 4 for cleanliness was given. 「We love this house, the view and location and we had a great time. But, given the price, you expect the house to have decent furnishings. The rug downstairs was filthy and the upstairs couch was not clean and the house needs other updates. The house had been cleaned but the furnishings seemed overused and unclean. We hope the owners will inspect their property and refresh their furnishings because we would love to come back.」
