「House was quaint and beautiful. Street location has a high volume of traffic which makes it noisy. But house was clean and well cared for. Would have appreciated some extra amenities like board games, books, and other stuff to do during rain/storms. Would have loved a coffee maker as well. Not much into the K Cups. Maybe having both?」

「AMAZING! It had extra trash bags, dishwasher pods; the things you need to leave it the way you found it. The hot tub was the reason we booked this cottage. It was a welcoming spot to relax after running the 50K in town. The fire pit was a nice way to unwind upon arrival. Thank you for thinking of all the little things. This cottage had raised the bar for all of our future VBROs.」

「This cabin is great. From check in to check out everything was as stated and cabin was great. I would definitely stay here a again. Only a few miles from main entrance to New River Gorge, and Thurmond. Easy drive to all other parts of the National Park. We even got in a few State Parks and 1 Battlefield. And dog friendly was the icing on the cake.」

「This stay was for our 10th anniversary. The cabin was fantastic. We loved the hot tub and the privacy. We had an issue where VRBO didn’t send us the the cabin number and correct code. We ended up arriving at 2am due an emergency delay in our trip. We contacted VRBO and they contacted our host. We felt bad for waking him at 2am, but he was able to give us the information we needed. 「The cabin is exactly as described. The grounds keeper went out of his way to grab trash we hadn’t taken over yet while we were out. A lot of reviews mentioned the road being bad, but it’s just a typical narrow dirt road. I can see it maybe being a little intimidating if you never drive on unpaved roads, but it is very well maintained, just go slow and be mindful while passing people and you won’t have an issue.」

「Very charming property. Everyone was super friendly ended up meeting just about the entire street trying to turn around with our boat. The road in is a very tight one lane road with not alot of space to back into the driveway. A neighbor ended up making space for me to turn around and i was easily able to back in. Longbed truck with 20ft bassboat did not help situation. Property was beautiful and fit our needs perfectly, planning on coming back for the white water festival in October. Thanks...
