The house and the host were wonderful. We loved sitting in the porch and the deck and taking in the beautiful views over the river. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable.

This weekend could not have been nicer. Waking up every morning to the water view with the mountains in the back ground was one of the best parts. We will definitely be using this as our weekend get away in the future.

The cottage was wonderful, fully stocked with everything needed to make it feel like home away from home. Beth communicated very well about everything, all questions were answered promptly. Prefect place for taking our dog fully fenced in yard. Being nestled between mountains was breathtaking, listening to rain come over the mountain was relaxing and soothing. 1000% would stay again.

This house is a clean, tidy house on a property with a beautiful view of the river and some of West Virginia's MANY mountains. The house is very close to the town of Montgomery with some restaurants, but isn't far from the nation's newest national park and the larger town of Fayetteville with some fun restaurants like the Secret Sandwich Society.The owner was gracious and quick to answer any questions and made sure we were taken care of. The house is spacious and though there were only two of us, we could easily have brought our kids. We didn't take advantage of the firepit and outdoor stuff (it was HOT), but there is a dock and lots of outdoor seating and a nice little yard with a great view of the river.

Little things make all the difference

The property owners attention to small details like local recommendations, snacks, and a fully stocked coffee bar truly make this property a great place to visit. Perfect waterfront spot

We loved the quaint neighborhood and beautiful riverfront views. The house had everything we needed and we were able to go out for adventures during the day and come back to relax, fish or make dinner for the evening. Great spot! We’ll be back!

Great place

Great place to unwind and relax. This place kept Very well with inviting decorations, amenities and scenery from the porch and deck is incredible . A single bathroom is bit of a challenge. Over all great place. We had a great time.

This is a must stay property. We loved celebrating our anniversary here. So peaceful and so accommodating. The host was in contact with me to make sure we arrived safely and if there was anything we needed. We have rented cabins in the past and I have to say this is at the top of our list. Highly highly recommend. Everything you need is there.

Riverside Getaway

An amazing property and experience! From the small touches such as fresh firewood, supplies for s’mores, assortment of snacks and beverages, everything was curated so well. The kitchen was stocked with almost anything you can ask for. Perfect place for a short trip or even a lengthier stay.
