「Magnificent hotel, with beautiful surroundings and helpful staff. Bath room is a bit dated but acceptable. I love the balcony and the gardens. will definitely come again in the future.」

「This hotel is next to the hunter valley garden. The views outside the balcony is pretty good and I can see the sun rise in the morning. The room is big and comfortable. It has free wifi and it is stable. However, I think the bed is too soft for me.」

「For the foriegn travellers who have no local phone number to receive SMS for check in, therefore, it js not convience for no check in counter nor staff stay at the site.」

「Hair dryer was broken, room was old n too small, windows couldnt open n reception is on 4 th floor without any lift. 」

「Aesthetically, it is a charming old hotel with heaps of character. Evidence of some disrepair in the bedroom, hallways & communal bathroom let it down somewhat. Otherwise, my stay was very enjoyable. The staff were helpful & friendly, the room clean & well presented, & the bed comfortable. 」

「Located at side of Lake Macquarie. Must put Marks Point if you set GPS. The same highway number led us to a place 40 mins far away. Owner of motel is a friendly lady and give us valuable info of where to explore and eat. Will stay there again for future visits. Restaurant at Gunyah Hotel nearby is very good too.」
