“no other visitors checkin that day but expedia said it's full and can't change the room with heater. When I check in, nobody at office and need to go next door Cedar Lodge, also Cedar Lodge have no idea if there are other empty rooms for change. ”

“We had an issue with finding lots of giant winged ants crawling on the carpet and a couple black beetles as well. Especially when we turned heater on they would appear out of nowhere near the vents making me think they came from the vents. Needs an exterminator visit to spray around the house. It didn’t ruin our stay though! We just killed them when we would see them with paper towels and we only saw them in the day not at night which isn’t a huge issue since we were mostly out on hikes. “House is like a museum with artifacts of old western themed items and pictures (i.e. Hop Along Cassidy, Lone Ranger, etc). Great deck, very comfortable inside, all the amenities you may think of, or need.”

“Lisa’s property is located about 20 minutes from Yosemite Valley. VRBO provides detailed instructions so far as directions and accessing and using the property. It is in nice condition aside from a couple of funky faucets that could use a plumber’s attention. We found it very comfortable and well furnished. Everything works and Lisa provided all the linens, plates, cooking supplies etc we needed. She is extremely responsive. We mentioned needing a couple of items and adjustment of the heat and……

“We loved this property! So spacious and comfortable. Perfect for the six of us. An easy 45 minute drive to Yosemite Valley. Loved the wood burning stove. The kitchen was spacious, the beds were comfy. A late season storm almost snowed us in. The owners’ staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They brought us a snow shovel and even helped find some snow chains for our car. We’re definitely coming back to this house!”

“We have stayed at Yosemite West at least 6 other times, booking through other listing agents. Never had any issues. We are always 100% satisfied and happy with everything.. Not so much this time through VRBO/Vacasa. #1. There is no phone in the unit. There are signs all over that tell you a number to call with issues, but that number is to an out of state place... not someone local to deal with anything.. AND - since there is no cell reception.. and no phone... the only way to deal with any……

“We had a good stay here once we were able to get into the house--the message we received with check-in information provided both the wrong house number and wrong door code. We could not reach the property manager to get the correct code (granted, we arrived at around 11pm and VRBO was able to eventually reach them), but fortunately we guessed the correct code. The wifi also went out completely 2 days into our stay. The house did have everything we needed and proximity to the valley was great.”

“It is well maintained cabin in the rustic setting. If there is anything that is a little tiring is the distance from Yosemite NPS. The mail sent my evolve team was clear and we didn’t face any issues. ”

“Google Maps worked well for us. The place was very clean. Check-in was pretty easy. Wonderful neighborhood. There is a small grocery store nearby that saved us a trip outside the park. The only issue was that AC would not work, it got hot inside the property in the evening and at night. We just opened some windows and handled the heat.”

“Very spacious. Excellent sleeping arrangements. Full kitchen. Guests should know that the devote, especially the bathrooms are not updated and have the original hardware from 1980’s, maybe older. Although the place was clean the older bathrooms made you feel like it was not because of the are spots. Otherwise, excellent property.”

“I booked this cabin for a family trip to Yosemite, and this was my first time using VRBO. The communication with the property’s owner was great. I received all of the information in advance of my stay. The cabin is centrally located right in Yosemite, only 30 minutes from Oakhurst and Yosemite Valley. The kitchen contained nearly everything we needed to enjoy family meals, and having the fireplace with plenty of firewood came in handy during the chilly nights. “The property was clean, modern, quiet and very charming. It was more remote than I was expecting but we came prepared with groceries for the duration of our stay so was not a problem that there were no restaurants nearby. The refrigerator did stop working on the last day of our stay but that was just bad luck and not a reflection of the property.”

“The property is very convenient for a visit to Yosemite and is located inside the park. The location is good with parking for 2 cars and plenty of room for up to 8 people. There is good cooking equipment and lots of room to sit. There is no internet, TV or cell service at the cabin. The carpets are quite stained and generally things are a bit shabby, but generally clean and spacious.”
