“The location is very good, very east to find, it is a very peaceful area, it also has the sea view from my room, parking can park next to the supermarket. However the room is very small, but it should be very small in the overall highland area, just depends how much you pay. Thanks!”

It was exactly as portrayed: an historic (and idiosyncratic) small inn/hotel; not fancy, very straightforward; on the water in a wonderful location; a great kitchen punching way above its weight. But the best part was its staff. Warm, genuine. I felt cared about by every staff member I interacted with. Kudos.”
“We loved our stay here. The picture window looking over the water was beautiful. The cabin was wonderfully simple and yet held all we needed. I had tried to book it for 4 nights but it was only available for 2 when we were there. I would have gladly booked it for all 4 and if we ever return to Skye we will definitely look ahead of time to book all our nights here again. Loved its eco friendliness as well!

Great set up for location dining option nearby and community nature walks all in reach by car or walking . Would have staying longer if I could , next time . “I had a two night stay at Glenbrittle while visiting Isle of Skye. The room was comfy enough (a little cramped for ten people), the bathrooms were nice and very clean, the common areas were well stocked and cozy.
There's also a great waterfall right across the road from the hostel and plenty of sheep and lambs to watch in the evenings. ”
“It's a super wonderful experience for me and my wife staying here. Ian and Christine are really treating guests with their thoughtful hearts. An attached private lounge for us is a big wow surprise, way beyond our expectations. We enjoyed the comfy bed and delicious breakfast very much! Ian also recommended us some hidden gem locations which we added in our itinerary, it's eye-opening and give us super different experience.
We love this place and regretted not booking more days here and look……
