“Canal view stay has to be one of the best BnB experiences that we have ever had. The comfort and home-feel of a BnB was combined with the attention to detail and service found within a design hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the space that was larger than expected from the photos. The apartment is in an excellent location walking distance from supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops and of course - Vondelpark. We became regulars at the bar next door that serves great food and drinks.……

It was easy to get into Central Amsterdam, however you probably only want to do it once a day. We found that after a day in the Central City we were too tired to return at dinner time. Richard is just upstairs and was responsive to our requests. He is willing to recommend activities and to drive guests with luggage. He picked me up from my river cruise dock when I arrived and dropped me off at the train station on the day I left. His fee for driving is very reasonable. “Tolle und vorallem super besondere Unterkunft für einen Städtetrip nach Amsterdam. Dank der detaillierten Zugangsbeschreibung konnten wir problemlos in die schöne und sehr saubere Unterkunft einchecken und wurden auch direkt freundlich vom Besitzer Maarten begrüßt. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit ist man zu Fuß am Bahnhof und im Zentrum. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.”

“I stayed here for 10 days and it was just what I wanted — plus the landlady is the kindest, sweetest person ever! She cheerfully helped me wrestle my heavy suitcase down the stairs and deal with the King’s Day crowds. A truly gracious and kindhearted host!! The apartment was spotless with a very comfy bed and the bathroom was also spotless and fully modernized. Perfect location on in the northern edge of the Jordaan district — about 20 feet from one of the canals and near stores of all kinds,……

“Paul and Karen are very friendly, the place is super clean, they have cleaning service everyday. The location is not bad, it's in the middle between city and airport, you can walk 5-7 mins to take tram to the city, and when you are leaving to the airport by uber it's very fast like half an hour. There's a pantry where you can make coffee tea anytime, fridge, cereals and they even leave small cakes for you! Really sweet gesture :) We stayed in the garden room, where you can see the nice cute……

“The property owner, Marion, was absolutely outstanding. She gave us tips on what to see, where to eat and how to get there. She checked daily to see if we needed anything and that the apartment was clean. The two bedrooms were large and the beds comfortable. The location is excellent for seeing the sights and it felt like home after a hard day of sightseeing. The apartment is on the 4th floor but we didn’t have a problem even though we are in our late 70s. A lovely stay and a lovely manager.”

“The July is a comfortable, clean, modern hotel in a quiet residential section of town. The hotel restaurant is good. Outside seating options make for a pleasant meal or cocktail. The staff is polite and attentive. Getting to and from the hotel to sights and restaurants is always a taxi or Uber. Nothing is within walking distance. Expect $15 to $20 for each ride by Uber. Taxis are mych more and should be avoided. ”
