“A fascinating property with a history. Fabulous views of the chateau from the bedroom windows and from the courtyard. Right in the centre of Saumur, but had a large heated indoor swimming pool. The extra treat was the pool table and pinball machine. It was easy enough to reverse the cars into the courtyard with practice. It was lovely and convenient for restaurants, the chateau and the bakery. Gilles, our host was at the end of a phone if we needed him. Nicole the housekeeper made us welcome……

“Bonne communication avec l'hôte pour une arrivée en autonomie. Le logement est propre et son emplacement est un vrai point fort: proche du château,de la gare et des commerces, tout est accessible à pieds. Le lave linge est un plus appréciable.Le point negatif est le couchage soi disant pour 2 dans le canapé du salon:il est trop dur et trop petit en longueur et en largeur. Mon compagnon et moi y avons très très mal dormis,obligeant l'un de nous à dormir par terre...Un comble quand on paye une……
