Incredible location
Wonderful house in an absolutely incredible location. There is a slightly awkward house/bedroom layout, but that pales in comparison to the perfect location. This house was ideal for a big family ski trip. 5 stars for sure!

Great spot in Breck!
The property was amazing, and the property management was very responsive to our questions before and during our stay. There was plenty of space for my coworkers to spread out, and the renovated property met all of our expectations. I highly recommend this location and will stay there again!

Great location, great house
The house is great for a large group. It is close to everything. You can walk to the Gondola, shopping, and dining. There is a grocery store very convenient, and it has everything like you would see at home. The views are amazing. Having the two kitchens was very nice and they were stocked with everything we needed. We received a very quick response to any questions we had and the check-in / check-out process was very simple.

Fantastic in so many ways
The River House is a great option for larger groups that want room to spread out! It is perfectly located on the main thoroughfare in Breckenridge, allowing for an easy walk to restaurants, shopping and the gondola. The hot tub in the back along the river was a great spot for the group to enjoy in the evening and offered beautiful views in the morning to start the day. Check in and out was absolutely seamless.

Perfect for families
This house is so special and in the most perfect location. We used the space for a little friend-family reunion and it was perfect. The kids loved the outdoor area and creek, the house was very spacious and it was a treat to be so close to coffee, churros and donuts every morning. Our trip was in the summer but we definitely want to come back in the winter!

Cleanliness, Hospitality, and Location Made This VRBO Stay A Family Reunion to Remember
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean and spacious home. We loved having access to both kitchens and could easily spread out between the dining tables, living area, sitting area, and outdoor space that included a hot tub. We were just steps away from the gondola and appreciated being able to walk Main Street without having to find parking. We also enjoyed listening to the river run in the back yard. The upgraded kitchens were fully stocked. If you have older family or friends, make sure they can manage stairs, but if stairs are not a concern, you will love this place!

Perfect Location
This is the perfect property for a large group who likes to ski during the day and hang out on the town at night. Place is literally 100 yards to gondola and 100 ft to Main Street. I would take this property over any ski/in out house on the mountain. Plenty of space and good “hang out” area in basement. Highly recommend.

Perfect House for a Large Family
This River House was an amazing property for our whole family to stay in. There were 18 of us and it was the perfect amount of room! The double kitchen is a plus. 5 stars!

Amazing Location
We traveled as a group of 3 families and this house worked out so well. The location really can’t be beat. You can walk to everything in town and the gondola is right there. The patio overlooking the river and mountains was a favorite spot for everyone!

Wonderful Stay so close to the slopes
The location of the property is incredible. Right near everything in town and a 2 minute walk to the gondola to get to the slopes. The house was so clean and cozy and we really enjoyed the hot tub too. Would recommend this house to anyone!

Great location for getting to the peaks and restaurants. Gondola is directly behind the house
Good overall experience. Not all the rooms had humidifiers so every morning you woke up stuffy and dry nosed/cotton mouthed. No ventilation in the house That we found. The hot tub didn’t work until the last day either. Overall I’d say 8/10. I’d stay again for the location alone. Ski rental is directly next door as well

Lovely house but needs a deep clean
We had a lovely family holiday, the house suited our needs with everyone having their own room and bathroom but we did feel that a deep clean was needed and a little maintenance was required. The dinning room was a fantastic family space with all the family being able to sit together to eat. Location to the gondola was perfect (a very short walk) We did report that the house needed a good clean and Ms Mary replied that she would be contacting the cleaners.

Perfect house for family gathering. Mary is a awesome Host and will help with anything you need. The views are amazing and everything's within walking distance from hiking trails,grocery store ,bars and restaurants. Park your car and leave it. Couldn't have had more fun, Best weekend ever.

Perfect place for large groups, close to town with all the amenities!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your place with 5 couples. We Each had our own rooms and private bathrooms. We couldn’t even hear anyone through the walls. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We cooked breakfast every morning and had dinner at the place several nights. The stream running behind the property is so peaceful! The eating area was perfect for our group to play games, hang out and eat together. It was also nice to be able to walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars. It was a perfect place for us and everyone raved about it!! Couldn’t be more pleased.

Great house in the best location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 9 day ski trip in The River House Lodge! The size was perfect for our large group, and the convenience of walking to the gondola, main street fun, grocery stores and Breck Station (for discount airport shuttle service) was great!

Great place! Perfect location and comfotable!
We rented the River House Lodge and Chalet. The location is perfect and cannot be beat. Only a few steps away from gondola, shops, and restaurants. Beds are comfy and Every room has its own bathroom which is very nice. Ms. Mary was so great, she was very responsive to any concerns or needs that we had. Breckenridge is my favorite place and I definitely will be back to stay here.

Perfect Location
We rented both sides of the house (chalet and lodge). It was our 10th trip to Breck and by far the most convenient of any trip my family has taken. We had 11 people (4 kids, 11 adults) and there was room for many more. We walked to dinner when we went out to eat and such an easy walk to the gondola (2 minutes). Our next trip will be back to this same spot.

Great Place Right Downtown For Large Groups
The River House is a great place for large groups. Being right downtown made it easy to get to the restaurants, shops, gondola and grocery store. We really did not have a need for a rental car. We definitely will be back next time we all come to Breckenridge.

Perfect location with great set up of bedrooms and bathrooms
We stayed here as a group of 11. Five adults, and 6 college aged boys. We all had plenty of space. The bed and bath configuration was great. The beds were plenty comfortable. The kitchen was not luxury, but wokred just fine for the couple meals we fixed in it. The huge eating tables worked perfect for cards and dominoes. The TV area did not hold all of us easily to watch basketball. But a few took the floor with pillows, and it worked. The location was the BEST!! Just walked two minutes to the gondola. Everyone could come and go from the slopes, or the restaurants and bars, as they pleased. Basic shampoos, soaps, etc. were already in the showers, which was very nice. A fire alarm battery started beeping one day, and it was promptly fixed the day we called. Mary was very helpful and responsive. She answered any questions we had before arrival. Our group will absolutely stay here again.

Best location in town. Worth every penny
We stayed here with another family we travel with. 4 adults and all kids are over 18. Being right in town and right next to the gondola was the best decision so everyone could come and go all day. No coordinating car trip needed. The beds were super comfy and everyone had a bathroom and a fireplace. The kitchen was adequate, the dining area was huge and the hot tub was right outside the door. It made our Christmas holiday that much more enjoyable and worth every penny. I hope we can stay here again in the future.

Best place to stay in Breckenridge
The River House is definitely one of the best places to stay if you are visiting Breckenridge with a group of people. The location can't be beat - it's about a 2 minute walk to the Gondola and is right on Main St. near restaurants and shops. Each room has its own bathroom which makes it perfect for a group of adults who all want their own space. Anytime I am in Breck, my first choice is the River House!

Nice home in a convenient location
The agent, Mary, was very pleasant to work with. The home is well-maintained and each bedroom is well-appointed with tv, bathroom, and most have a fireplace. The gondola is a very short walk from the home. I would stay there again although there are some things which could be better. The living room was a pretty big disappointment; it's not large enough for everyone to congregate in. Plus the lighting is very harsh and needs a dimmer or smart bulbs. We always had a wifi signal but internet connectivity was very bad which meant the wifi would "trap" devices. The grill needs better accessories and a working light. There is no shared bathroom for visitors which means they have to go into someone's bedroom. The hot tub can't handle the number of guests from the lodge, much less the adjoining chalet. A loud door bell would be nice; guests had to phone us from the front door.

Fantastic vacation house!
We rented this condo for a big family ski trip, and it was perfect. Very clean, lots of room for all the adults and kids, large dining room, and comfortable living room. The location is unbeatable...just steps from the gondola.
