"This spot is perfect. I think this is my 4th or 5th time spending long weekends at this spot and I love it everytime. Basillic is a block away and the best Swiss restaurent outside of Zurich. I sleep better here than anywhere else in the world. The parking is a major bonus and always encourages me to walk. The roses were in bloom all over the Big and Little Islands. I look forward to my next visit!"

"This is a great location for someone who does not need a lot of extras. The casa is as described, very simple, and is stocked with basic supplies. Drew has designed it to bring in as much light as possible during the day. He has taken advantage of the peekaboo ocean view in his window placement in the remodeled kitchen/bar area. "It rained the first night we were there and water was coming through the front windows. The wood and base boards were not sealed well and were already water logged. Mini water falls of rain got into our suitcases and work bags. The house is in need of some Upkeep and work especially the kitchen, bathrooms, and main bedroom where the water leak happened. "Loved this cottage! It was exactly as described, close to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We rented bikes at Newport Pier, about 4 blocks from the house. They do have a small garage but we parked on the street. My husband and I stayed with our 2 teenage kids."

"Everything about our stay in Getaway A was perfect! Beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could wish for… and the super comfortable beds were heavenly. "The property accomodated us very well. One king bed and 1 twin bed for the 3 of us. It was nice to have the refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. The only reason i did not give it 5 stars, is because the street out in front of it was closed and there were a lot of homeless people and trash. "
