I enjoyed my overnight stay in Carmarthen but I arrived late and left early the next morning.
We stayed in Laugharne not Carmarthen!!
Laugharne is breathtakingly beautiful around the castle and estuary. The walk to Dylan Thomas's boathouse is a must.
