“It was a decent stay. The hotel is in need of an upgrade, and is showing its age. The price is good and you get what you pay for. The room was clean enough for a 1-night stay as I was just passing through town. The hotel is near 2 bbq places so you can walk to lunch / dinner. ”

“Unauthorized charge for Pet. Told me it was included then charged extra to my card after I left.”

“The front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, the first room we were in smelled so musty that we had to ask for another room. They request was handled very quickly and without question. The second room smelled pleasing but it was not cleaned thoroughly. The bathroom floor was visibly dirty. I could tell things had been wiped because I could see the smeared film on everything. I did not feel good about the room because of the cleanliness. ”

“We now live out of state and traveled back to Chilton County to celebrate Mothers Day Weekend with family. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. The house is wonderful and perfect for a weekend getaway or a week enjoying the water! We will definitely stay here again in the future!!”

“House was beautiful. High quality all the way; mattresses, kitchen appliances, furniture. Nice playroom with toys. Game room was wonderful. Only drawback was access to water; lots of steps. Hard (or impossible) for older people and small children to get down to dock.”

“The view was nothing short of spectacular! Linen was clean and sleeping was very comfortable. There was plenty of trash or litter scattered about the property. There is a terrible ant problem on the property. All in all we had a pleasant stay.”
