“Very pleasant, large room. The shower has a hand rail - which was very useful. The staff had a reasonable grasp of English - I do not speak Turkish I’m ashamed to say. The food portions for our evening meal were very large!”

“Pro: sehr gute Ausstattung (Fön, Wasserkocher, Tresor, Kühlschrank, Klimaanlage), guter Zustand der Unterkunft, freundliche Mitarbeiter, gute Sauberkeit der Zimmer, ich selbst habe alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt erlaufen, dafür muss man aber ca. 20 - 25 Minuten in Kauf nehmen Contra: Ein bisschen erschrocken war ich schon von der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite des Hotels, da hier eine große Ruine liegt, die nicht sehr einladend ist (aber natürlich kann das Hotel dafür nix). Wenn man wie ich……

Two minor points: it was very hot in the room, the AC seems to be on hot for winter...had to switch off and leave window wide open. Also lighting to read not very good”

The staff was friendly and the restaurant coffee shops looked great although I had was a cappuccino. The location was near everything you might want to see in Thessaloniki.
