“I came to stay by the sea near Genova, where my mother was from. I needed a total break from work, life etc in Melbourne Australia. I booked this place as it ticked all boxes. 2 minute walk to beach, small but comfortable apartment, easy to clean, fully equipped , spectacular views, walking access to great hikes, train ride to Genova . The apartment has a homely feel, not stark and not sterile. I booked it for a full 3 months, and I relaxed immediately. I had no plans made, but at or from……

“We were traveling as a family with three young adults and two grandparents - and this was a fantastic find! The bus is a bit expensive (5 Euros per person/trip) but if you don’t have a car, well worth it. We had two cars and had to search for parking for the second, but I think we just missed that info. The house is gorgeous and totally unique and we had everything we needed. Lots of hikers to Portofino (and it was the off season!) passing by, but I would take the trails instead of the road if……

“Séjour correct mais plusieurs points a revoir. + La localisation, l'espace canapé séparé avec petite dépendance atypique pour la TV, quartier top, immeuble sécurisé. - la propreté, l'équipement sommaire, table de nuit en carton, lit qui se déplie/pas une vraie chambre, meuble à ustensiles de cuisine brinquebalants, cuisine très petite -le mot est faible-, on entend tous les bruits extérieurs par la fenêtre, volet qui se ferme mal et qui joint mal, pas de possibilité de poser ses valises……

“And our family loved staying here, it is a short walk from the main street and beach with cafés and wine bars. A 15 minute walk in either direction will find you in Santa Margarita, or Rapallo, both are charming cities with lots of great food options, and beautiful Italian streets to explore. It was a great home base to visit Portofino, Camogli and Cinque Terre. Our hosts were as kind as can be And even provided us with wine and fresh fruit from their trees that were delicious. “Nous avons passé un super séjour à Gênes. Alessandra a été très arrangeante, notamment avec notre retard dû aux embouteillages.. L’appartement est très bien placé au cœur du centre historique à proximité de tous les sites touristiques. Il ne faut pas oublier ses boules quies, la place est très vivante et donc bruyante jusqu’à tard dans la nuit. Pour 3 jours, nous l’avons supporté et étions très heureux d’être au cœur de la vie génoise.”

My only complaint was that the neighbors above were a bit noisy, but it didn’t inhibit our enjoyment. Note that there is no AC and no elevator to the room, but this was not a problem for us. ”

“Huset var mycket vackert beläget men inte helt lätt att ta sig till. Mycket brant backe och kan bli svårt med en stor bil. Bra parkering vid huset. Städning mycket bra och fräscht hus. Vi har tidigare hyrt hus i Italien vid några tillfällen, men aldrig tidigare så bra utrustning i köket och välfungerande duschar med varmvatten. trevliga värdar. Det som drar ner betyget är att man vid bokning efterfrågade om vi önskade "Additional sheets and towels". Jag förutsatte att det ingick ett set/ person……
