「Lovely stay could not fault anything except the tv advertised as having SKY tv but is only the 4 min channels as the TV refuses to connect to internet and would only been Netflix Amazon etc anyway not sky」

「Fabulous setting but signage needs improving Room was very comfortable but water in bathroom not potable for some reason. Didn't use any of the facilities but they looked superb and the grounds and views were magnificent. It was a shame the restaurant was fully booked as was the pub in the village we were directed to. Excellent breakfast in the morning 」

「I was really impressed with my stay. My room was spacious, and spotlessly clean. The bathroom shower was excellent. If you are tempted to stay, ignore any negative reviews as it's really nice here. I didn't hear any other guests moving around. I used the spa facilities twice and found everything clean and tidy. The pool is small but was adequate for a decent swim. I will definitely return.」

「Fantastic stately home with lovely gardens. We had the cheapest room on the third floor and it was fine. The evening meal was ok but not fantastic. There is plenty to do and must be a golfers paradise. The ground floor rooms were magnificent 」

「It is central to Chumley, pleasant staff, good ale. Cold at night, (limited heating and poor insulation) very noisy on a Saturday until the the late hours. (entertainment area right outside bedroom) Food was very poor. No staff available outside of opening hours. (Had to leave without finalising food bill as no staff available). Breakfast served in another establishment (short walk) 」

「The service and meals were excellent. The hotel has a comfortable atmosphere. If I were to make a criticism it would be that the rooms could do with updating. 」
