「Property overall is well maintained. The sand fleas and mosquitoes are terrible so please bring some type of bug repellent. After a day on the beach, my legs were bit up and swole. 「Wish I could leave a review of the Villa separate from Ocean Village as a whole. The villa we stayed in was clean & had everything we needed. The owner was gracious enough to stop by, introduce himself and ask if we needed anything. I would give his Villa 5 stars. But the property as a whole, Ocean Village, was awful. We were there for a wedding. The guards gave us a hard time every time we left the property and wanted to return. Why they don't have parking passes or something like it, so the...

「Run down. Not worth more than $20 per night. No vent in bathroom, things don’t dry out. The staff is nice, the location is good, but that does not make up for the extremely dated look of the property. My room looked nothing like the photo. I felt I was staying at a crack house. I booked in advance for 5 days. Had to leave after 2 nights. The also lost power for about 10 hours. If you stay in the front room street traffic may keep you awake at night.」

「Covers and pillows were stained, wifi and tv did not work, pool inside room was not heated it was freezing (the main reason we booked room), windows did not lock so room was unsecure, bathroom had a sewer smell and to top it off it was a brothel/strip club. When we were informed that there was a club that opened at 1030pm we never assumed a strip club until we walked by and seen naked women dancing. It made a lot of sense after the fact when all we noticed were men staying at the hotel.」
