“International brand lives up to its standards. I'm currently staying at various hotels in Denmark with about the same price range, not sure about the very expensive ones, but many of these hotels are either lacking mini bar, slippers, tissue, or very small shower place with shower curtain that doesn't block out the water at all. All that common annoying issues I found in Denmark, none were happening at the Hilton hotel in Faroe Islands. It was like "finally I can really get some rest here" and……

“Very comfortable hotel, clear and large room, reception is helpful, general service is above standard. Since the hotel location on the hill, hence it provide a wonderful review no matter from the room or restaurant, but if you didn't rent the car and prefer by walk to down town, it will require around 30 min. to down hill and around 45 min. to up hill. Besides, strongly recommend to book the KOKS for dinner as they will provide an excellent food and service to you which the chef will introduce……

“Bonjour. Nous y avons passé 3 nuits, l'hôtel est très bien situé, très calme, bonne insonorisation. Le petit déjeuner est bien fournie. A notre arrivée il y a juste eu une erreur de chambre donc vérifiez bien votre chambre en amont mais c'est tout, tout était formidable. ”

“Die Unterkunft ist wunderbar! Wir sind angekommen und haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gemütlich. Das Internet ist gut. Von der Unterkunft aus kann man tolle Wanderungen unternehmen. Der Ort als solcher ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück, das jeden Tag frisch, abwechslungsreich und super lecker zubereitet wurde. Und das obwohl es aufgrund des aktuellen Streiks eine Lebensmittelknappheit gibt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder……

“The owner and her daughter are VERY nice and kind. One morning I could not wait for the time to have breakfast and she prepared a packed one for me the night before! Room is pretty small but cute, sometimes need to wait to go to the bathroom, but it’s ok!! Great place ”

“Dejlig lys lejlighed med udsigt over Torshavns bymidte og havnen. Lejligheden er hyggelig og køkkenet rimelig velassorteret. Stegepanden trænger dog til udskiftning og en termokande ville også være velkommen. Bortset fra det var vores ophold tip top.”

“We had a great time staying in the turf house! This town has a very high energy for being a small place and everyone we met was extremely friendly. Great fish and chips truck just down the street as well as groceries near by. We also went on some great hikes nearby. Would definitely stay again!”
