“Was in town for the marathon & had to be awake by 4am. Breakfast normally starts at 7am on the weekends & went down at 4 for coffee & they had bagels, muffins, OJ, bananas, & coffee for athletes. Love that they went above & beyond even by those few hours early & I know my toasted bagel appreciated the kindness shown.”

“Still a comfortable and relatively affordable place to stay in Clayton (although note it’s not really in the Galleria area as billed.) But it’s showing a little wear compared with my earlier visits when it was brand new. The light and alert sound on the legendary waffle maker was broken as was my in/room refrigerator. ”

“All the staff was so friendly and I had good conversations with everyone. The hotel was super clean and central to so many things around. We didn’t have to drive out very far. ”

“We checked in late, 1am in the morning and the gentleman at the front desk was kind and efficient…he was also there when we checked out early, he was again friendly & efficient. Used Chili’s for a couple dinners. The breakfast was good (the attendant was a little grumpy & unnecessarily abrupt with my daughter when she used her fingers to pick up a muffin). The online listing said “seasonal pool” but I couldn’t find out if it would be open or not…I was looking forward to the hot tub being……

“Have a nice staying afternoon 8 hours driving. Room is great and clean. Breakfast is at the nice and have things we needed. The swimming pool is open and have kids playing in it. We hadn’t use it. Instead we use the fitting room for half an hour. Facilities are some what old and make annoying sounds when used.”
