Walkable to many restaurants including Whalers village which is right next door. 2 drawbacks : shower temperature was off and hard to adjust, shower was cold for at least 5 min before becoming warm and a very loud noise was always present coming from the generators in whalers village. 「I was very happy to find this good value for money hotel when I came to Maui for the first time. My room number is 301 located at the corner of the building and for two consecutive nights the strong wind outside kept knocking on my door so I couldn't sleep well all night. My experience this time was really bad. Fortunately, I only stayed for two nights and hoped to leave here as soon as possible.」

「We had a great, relaxing time while we were there. 3 pools along with 3 free BBQ grills to use. Next to the ocean and a golf course. We didn't need air conditioning since the trade winds either from over the mountains or the ocean keep the condo cool day and night. We will return again and request to stay at Kanaloa at Kona by OUTRIGGER again.」

「Cheak in 時間有限制，當初有事先告知會晚到，但只收到謝謝告知，以為會等我們到結果沒有，當天耗費了許多時間，撥了無數通電話才cheak in 成功(最後是保全幫忙)，如果會晚到一定要問怎麼cheak in，房間的位置是靠走廊的，所以外面有人走路、講話、停車，都會聽得非常清楚，比較淺眠的可能要多考慮。 房間外的景色非常優美，可以但到海及椰子樹，設備也非常齊全，有廚房有海灘椅洗衣機各種想的到的設備幾乎都有，非常像本來就住在那，我想這就是公寓式的迷人之處，但房間外有小飛蟲，會在房間天花板，有時會掉到床上，這點我比較不喜歡，離海邊非常近走路就可以到，附近也很多餐廳。」
