I've stayed at the Regency 10 times in 6 years. I have them on messenger. They have a auto reply but they never responded to my messages, I went to they're website again no response. The front desk staff was short and unempathetic didn't seem to care about my business so they've lost it. Normally when I arrive they would have us wait in the cafe with a complimentary glass of tea while they prepare the paperwork as I'm a returning guest and when I get to the room there will be a dessert plate that says welcome back however this time we got nothing. They said I could not avail my VIP discount because I booked through Expedia. The room we had was a view of vaccant lots and construction. You are allowed to smoke on the lanai, so when we got to our room I went out for a smoke the tenant above us dumped they've dirty laundry water over the rail on my head. I was on the 24th floor. That wasn't the hotels fault but the response was disappointing they sent housekeeping to mop up the water which was good but they didn't have security tell them to stop so while she was cleaning they again dumped laundry water almost hitting the housekeeper. It's illegal to throw things off the porch of a high rise according to the staff on previous visits and it should be reported, so no one will be injured in the streets below. The room was clean but really dated. I love the location right across the street from Robinsons at the left they have a horseshoe bar complex with a live band.
