Quiet retreat in Margaret River
Great place for a relaxing stay. Very quiet at night. Well appointed. Close to everything but out of the busy spots. Great host.

A little Oasis
A lovely little unit with a fabulous plunge pool. Very pleasant outdoor area with everything you could want for a holiday. John is a wonderful host and we had a perfect week here exploring the area. Would stay here again.

We were abit unsure on privacy once we arrived, but after we met John and he showed us around, he gave us plenty of space and we felt so comfortable and at home. Lovely soft bed, aircon, coffee maker, beautiful pool and grass area. Wonderful stay, cheers John!

Lovely studio with great outdoor area. John was an excellent host who lives in the front house. Always on hand when needed. Gorgeous little dog called Gianni who spent time with us. Would stay again.

Studio Six stay was great!
Fantastic little studio in a great location. Loved walking into town along the river. The studio has everything we needed and was very comfortable. Loved the plunge pool.

Comfortable and clean.
Stayed there for 3 nights, the accommodation was clean, comfortable, and full of little details that made our stay ten times better. Nice location, close to wineries, restaurants, and walks. The host was welcoming and a pleasure to talk to. Little Gianni was the cherry on top of the cake, we will miss him.

Perfect Margaret River Weekend
We had a fantastic stay here. John was very helpful and made sure everything was right for our stay. The pool was beautifully heated and it’s only a short walk to the town centre. We loved our stay!

My Hisband and myself had a great time, when we first booked the property the photos didn’t actually show it was apart of someone’s property so that was a bit of a surprise for us as we expected a private getaway for our honeymoon the place was lovely and clean host was helpful on where the best places where to go but just wasn’t private

Spotless, Comfy and Private
The property is in a beautiful location, with walks on the doorstep, and only a few minutes drive into town. The accomodation provides everything needed for a short break, with a comfy bed and luxury linen, toiletries and the pool is a bonus.

Holiday break
The property whilst small appears really spacious because of the outside space. The pool was great as the weather was really hot. The studio was spotlessly clean and is tastefully furnished, I would love to stop here if we visit the area again. Finally John is great host, really helpful.

Beautiful accommodation
The accommodation has beautiful surroundings and facilities The owner John made us feel very welcome and at home. I strongly recommend the daybed and pool. Will definitely be staying here again!

The property is unique, sizeable and manageable. The environment is clean, romantic and very private. In my opinion, one thing I dislike is, the pool is large and very deep and there is no reading showing the depth.

Host was lovely, facilities were great, TV played up a bit but that wasn’t that important, neighbours were a bit noisey at times but overall a very clean and well appointed studio apartment that suited our needs very well.

We really enjoyed our time here! Margaret River is a beautiful area, well worth the visit. Since day 1, communication with John, the owner, was excellent. When we arrived, he had warmed up the pool for us to take a plunge. The apartment is super well equipped (John even provides sun block, adaptors). Since we were traveling around Australia, John even let us use his washing machine! He also suggested places to visit. Everything to make our stay our stay amazing. There is an added bonus. Gianni, his dog, is as hospitable as John. He will be there to greet you and put a smile on your face!

My friend and I felt safe and comfortable
We were there for 2 nights. After driving around we could not wait to get back to our little studio. It was well equipped and chatting with John while cooking dinner was fun.

Could not recommend this stay enough. My friend and I had were welcomed as soon as we arrived at the property and made to feel right at home. The property was absolutely beautiful and John was easy to communicate with. Would stay again.

I am surprised with your review considering you spent such little time with us. When Dawn came to return the key I must admit I was taken aback with your departure. I asked if anything was wrong and she replied that nothing was amiss. I assumed that as a couple you may have had a domestic dispute and didn’t want to continue with your weekend. I have never in 5 years of hosting guests, ever had someone leave within 4 hours of checking in.

John was lovely and Gianni the dog is very cute. We went hoping to use the spa at the property, but it was not available to us despite us checking when we made the booking that we could use it, which we were very disappointed by. The bed is very comfortable and warm and the location central.

Peter, I am quite surprised by your comment on the availability of the heated plunge pool. (It’s not a spa) On arrival, I did ask if you wanted the pool heater on and Michelle replied that she wouldn’t be using it but maybe you might. You did not respond to that comment so I assumed that neither would want to use it. You only had to ask and I would have turned it on. I don’t usually run it in winter unless requested due to being environmentally conscious and not wasting power. My apologies for this misunderstanding and I am happy to provide a discount should you wish to stay with us again. Cheers John

Excellent little getaway place to relax and enjoy after a day out of site seeing to come and go as you please plus a really friendly host in John, not to mention his legendary chihuahua who loved to say hello!
