“Lovely pub, great service, nice room”

“This pub/restaurant has it all, ambiance, great service varied menu and a great location. It was perfect way to celebrate my wife's birthday on our way home from a holiday in Scotland. Had a drink in the sheltered beer garden and a great meal in the restaurant. Breakfast, which is included is cooked fresh to order. Only minor issue being the bathroom which was small and could do with modernising. Otherwise 5 stras”

“It was a great experience for my wife and I to sleep over a pub. The staff were extremely friendly. We met some wonderful people from Wells and we had a really good beer and cider. They even made us a platter of cheese and crackers. The parking was very good, access to the pub was a little difficult due to the many staircases one had to use to get to our room. “The hotel was advertised as having a restaurant. After a long day at work and travelling I arrived to be told the restaurant wasn’t open. I was told there were places I could drive to but after a long day didn’t really want to. I got myself showered and changed. When down in the bar other residents were there and the next thing pizza arrived for staff and residents. Quite annoying that nobody had let me know when they were aware I was wanting food.
