“Fabulous old hotel”

“Our stay for 4 nights was good. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable! Good size tv but rooms could use some updating. The continental breakfast was much nicer than most places. The pool was nice. The grounds/outside of hotel and surrounding areas could definitely use some better upkeep. ”

“Room was great except didn’t have a table and chairs. The parking was atrocious. Didn’t have room to park on the East side by our rooms. Not enough space to park properly and then had a roll off dumpster taking 5 prime parking spaces. The pool and hot tub were great and the movies every night were awesome. Breakfast was awesome and the staff was outstanding. ”

“It was absolutely magical! It is definitely my new happy place. From where it is located, to the secret room! My husband and I were a little bummed about some of the rules about candles and what not, but didnt miss them one bit!!”

“Owners were super nice and down to earth and friendly with the guests. Room was small, but cozy and rustic and clean. Animal friendly. Have created a nice, usable outdoor space. Easy walk to the historic district. Will be back! ”

“The rooms were spotless and everyone was so friendly. The rooms were also quite large. The restaurant food was excellent and the staff was able to accommodate my celiac diet. We left some items in the room and the front desk called us to let us know and arranged to send the items to us. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“Likes: - Unique spot - revamped older home. The room was done well. - Good breakfast - Comfortable bed! - Close to downtown - ability to walk to a number of spots. "Wish it was different": - No bathroom privacy. The bathroom was open to the bedroom - a curtain or something like a pocket door would have helped that. - We normally at B&Bs love to eat in a dining area where we can visit and get to know other people staying at the inn. The food being delivered to our room didn't allow that. Not……
