「Pleasant throughout. Well mannered staff. Treated our dog as an equally valid guest. Staff were attentive at all times. Whoever was on duty at 21.30 last night was a complete gem. Breakfast is a feast of choice and flavour. A treat. 」

「A cracking property! We loved the location; close to Les Halles (food market), the petit plage, shops, restaurants, all within 5/10 mins walk. We also loved having a kitchenette and a balcony overlooking the sea. The 17m pool (heated at end of May!) with sun loungers was also awesome!」

「Small room and bathroom with a small shower that does not shield water well. The floor is very watery after the shower. There’s room to improve.」

「Villa Birdie has to be one of the best places we've stayed. The hotel is stunning from the minute you arrive. Blanca (the host & owner) greets you with a beeming smile and treats you like like a celebrity. The location is perfect, a 20 minute walk into the centre of town, regular bus & train service near by. The rooms are modern, clean and well equipped. Literally cannot fault the place and Blanca and her team are a joy to have host you! 」

「Beautiful resort with very nice staff. We slept soundly due to the quiet area and the comfortable bed. The shower is excellent and the bathroom looks like it’s updated as all the fixtures are of a high quality and nice design. We chose the breakfast option and it was delicious with a lot of choices. All the food was very fresh. You can even boil your own egg if you don’t want the scrambled eggs. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. 」

「The only reason I stayed was because I had a 6:45am flight to catch and the hotel is a 5 minute walk to Biarritz airport. It is a motel next to the highway and their electronics door keys did not work for me and another customer who checked in. Minimal amenities and a bit noisy as next to the highway. Room is small and bed not too comfortable. Asked for 5am morning call they said ok but ended up no one called. The only thing I like was the dinner at their restaurant which was surprisingly...
