“This was a great way to check out from the worlds fast pace. Make sure when you google this camp site with the city and State. 1997 Fisher Ridge Road. There are two number addresses in Kentucky the same. You want to use this city and state-Horse Cave, Ky. The owner met us at the Truck Love's Stop and showed us how to get back to the secluded camp site. I would not suggest to arrive when it is dark. It was very secluded which was great for my two dogs. I ask the owner where the nearest shower was……

“A group of friends stayed here because we had a fishing tournament on Barren River over the weekend. We enjoy this location because there is plenty of space for our boats and there is a lot of peace and quiet. The place is very nice and offers a great place to relax. Plenty of sleeping options and plenty of options to hang out.”

“This house was absolutely beautiful! Plenty of space for 6 adults. Parking was a little difficult but only because we had a trailer with 2 jeeps. That was on us! Normal everyday drivers would be just fine. Set on the back upper deck and watched the wild life (ground hog living under neighbors house) and used the grill.”

“The owner is very nice, friendly, & accommodating. The rental is located in a beautiful area! If you want quiet & to kind of get away from “people” , it’s the perfect place. So much better than staying in a hotel! 10/10 recommend! We plan on staying again when we come back to town!”

Peggy went out of her way to make it the best stay possible. We will likely come back again or at the very least let others know about it.”

“The layout is nice, the view is wonderful. The noise level from highway is loud at times. The windows do not all have screens and some of them have openings that let in bugs. The kitchen is not well equipped with items, such as sharp knives, coffee, baking pans, or serving dishes. The pillows are terrible and the blankets are cheap.”

“The place was cute and a good place to stay for a night or two. We chose to go in pretty cold temperatures and noticed the unit doesn't retain heat well. The heaters ran pretty constantly.There's a wall unit and an extra heater, but the extra heater really has no where safe to go without being too close to the bed or rug. Something for the owner to keep an eye on. The water heater is fairly small so you can really only get a quick 10 minute shower when it's really cold out, but otherwise was a……

“The fitness room left much to be desired -just a couple of treadmills. Also the breakfast was just a waffle maker, 2 kinds of cereal and a fridge of yogurt. But it was reasonable price and clean. ”

“We visited frim out of state for the first time. We stayed in the lodge. You can tell they are older buildings but kept very clean. Our room was very roomy and comfortable. It would be nice to have a little mini fridge to keep cold drinks or left overs from the restaurant but otherwise it was a good stay.”
