“Great place to stay! Lots of space and things to do. Weather was also great. Owner was very responsive and the folks they have in the area to help out were great too. Close enough to be able to run to town if needed, but tucked back in the woods enough you feel more in touch with nature.”

Only bad thing was the cleaning staff on our floor were very loud. Slamming doors and going in and out of rooms many times. ”

“This home is in a cute quiet neighborhood and was perfectly appointed. While we didn’t have a chance to use the backyard fire pit area we sure wanted to. We appreciated the coffee and basket of snacks provided. This was the perfect place for us and only 35 minutes from Oxford.”

“The location called after we booked to let us know they were renovating the property in the event that would be an issue. The room was still clean and comfortable, and it looks like the place will really look nice when completed. I would still stay there again. There weren’t any noise issues for us or our dog. ”

“It was a great place for our group to gather to watch the eclipse, and then visit with each other afterwards. Very historic house with potential to be even more grand if renovations continue. The gazebo is nice. The yard would be even better with a garden or flowering trees. We enjoyed exploring the house. So much room!”

“The pictures uploaded are either very old, or doctored. Bed sheets had stains on them with black light. Cameras installed throughout the inside of the home. No running water when we arrived. We checked into a motel, and then owner tried to charge me $2000.00 for "water damage", when there was no running water and we never stayed.”

“My husband, son, and I stayed here the weekend of our daughter’s graduation from Miami University. It was so cute and easy to access. The communication was awesome and check in/check out process was simple. Would definitely recommend.”

“It was a great price and room is a decent size. It smelled a little smoky and didn’t offer extras like coffee in the room, but it did include a breakfast. It is a good deal for a quick overnight stay. ”

“What a cute place! I really enjoyed staying in Starr Loft. I was in Richmond for just a couple days to graduate, but really enjoyed everything. The loft is lovely and inviting! And the ice cream place on the corner is yummy. Coffee and breakfast at Roscoe’s was a treat!”
