What I loved about La Pensione Hotel, where the views! Amazing !! Also, loved that it is in the heart of Little Italy. The Hotel itself was so beautiful, historically beautiful. Loved the architecture of the building inside and out. Another thing I loved, is that it has a coffee shop and a pizzeria on the premises. Also a very relaxing and cute outside Patio. Beautiful. The only thing, I wasn’t to keen about, was the way I was treated checking in, being my first time there. The female receptionist could have been more hospitable and less confrontational, especially about the handicapped parking. In which I had to quickly let her know I had a placard and would never park in the handicapped parking without one. I couldn’t believe I was being questioned, furthermore insinuating I didn’t have one. I had to defend myself over my handicap placard/parking; and the look she gave us was not a nice one. Not only that, she still told me if it wasn’t visible in the car it would be towed. Unbelievable! I felt very insulted. I was dreading checking out. However, on my way to check out, as soon as I walked out of the elevator, I took a big sigh of relief, when I saw it wasn’t the girl who checked me in; it was a gentleman, he was outstanding! So, besides the check in, everything else was fabulous!!
