“Our team had a one day conference in Chicago. Although it was near the highway it wasn't very loud. Decent neighborhood and the good part is that it was near the highway. Lower level bed is uncomfortable, no other way to say that. I still give it 5-stars as it is as advertised. Communication with owner was timely.”

“Relaxing, quiet and clean neighborhood. Love the retro decor. Kitchen is well equipped for those that might want to cook. A few branches were down in backyard, furniture wasn't set out yet such as outdoor dining table and chairs or gazebo, but overall property was in good condition. Thank you for a relaxing place to stay.”

“Very nice home in the Chicago suburbs. I'm a single traveler and I found the home and neighborhood comfortable and safe. Easy 7 minute walk to the "L". I travelled downtown and south to multiple destinations without having to drive. I highly recommend this home !”

“It was a perfect location and plenty of space for family of 8 plus visiting friends. Mike was a great host and we got to enjoy some firewood he had set up for us to have a fire. Highly recommend! The description says 4 bathrooms and there are 3 bathrooms…the only discrepancy.”

“Me and my family stayed there and it has to be my favorite place when visiting family there was more than enough room for local family members to come and visit, the beds were so comfortable and the place was stocked with everything we needed. Communication was perfect we had to stay an extra day and they let us book it with no problem. Would definitely book to stay at again.”

“A perfect, quiet, but centrally-located destination on the North Shore in Evanston, there's nothing but good about this historic coach house a block from Lake Michigan. The apartment is beautifully furnished, and full of light and charm. Comfortable room sizes, and lots of closets. Easy to access and very private and quiet. A nice roomy kitchen, with a pleasant dining area. Could not ask for a better getaway locale in Evanston. Will definitely be back soon.”

“This property was overall pretty nice. We traveled with four adults and two pets. It would be nice if there was a gate at the back stairs to prevent pets from heading down there. The stairs are fairly steep. I know that Illinois recycles just about everything, but it would be very nice if there was a separate bin in the kitchen for recycling. It was not convenient to walk all the way outside and through the gate put recycling away. The upstairs bathroom lacked extra towels, there were no……

“We were up for my son’s graduation from Lake Forest. Perfect location. Close to restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops and centralized for what we needed. Roomy enough for an adult family, but cosy enough to feel connected and together.”

“Our five day stay was excellent. Description and pictures of the property are accurate and appropriately inviting. Location is very convenient to Geneva and the other fine Fox River towns. Hosts were gracious, responsive and helpful. Bikes in the garage were nice and the screened in porch and backyard sitting area very inviting. We hope to be back next time in town visiting extended family.”
