“This was a great place to relax with a good view and explore the Lake Thun and Interlaken area. It was away from all the tourists and was so relaxing. The stay here also gave us free use of the basic bus system in this area which was very nice. This place was perfect for us and we’d love to come again sometime.”

“Wengen - Wow! And what a perfect chalet to experience it from. It is cozy, beautiful, well-located and….the view! I jokingly said that postcards must have been invented here because otherwise no one would believe that such a place exists. The decor of the chalet is beautiful and cozy. It invites “hanging out”. The glass doors that accordion open to the deck let you fully immerse yourself in that view. Six of us (three couples) enjoyed the house immensely. The only thing to note is the bathroom……

“This home was the perfect place for our family to stay to see the absolutely gorgeous Jungfrau Region. We are a family with 5 young children plus my 80-year old uncle. My uncle stayed in the basement bedroom, which worked out well despite needing to go down the stairs outside to access his room, which he said was cozy. The rest of us stayed upstairs, with 4 kids in the big room and the parents plus baby in the small room. It's not a large home, but had plenty of space for us. The ceilings are……

“Hallo, wir waren mit 3 Personen in dem kleinen Ferienhaus. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist sehr umfangreich. Uns fehlte es an nichts. Informationen über die Umgebung sind reichlich vorhanden. Besonders möchte ich noch den herrlichen Ausblick, bis rüber Jura erwähnen. Kinderspielzeug und Spiele für Erwachsene sind vorhanden. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir würden gerne im Sommer noch einmal kommen. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall das schöne Ferienhaus mal zu besuchen”

“This chalet was a perfect basecamp for traveling the Interlaken region. It is within a 20-minute walk of a major train station and the bus is one minute from the front door. My husband and I adored the small village where it is located. It was amazing to stay in a small and quiet location and easily get to the busier city of Interlaken. The chalet was clean, well organized, and the kitchen was very helpful to have. Communication is easy and efficient with the host. I highly recommend staying……

“The property manager gave great directions and correspondence before arrival. The beds were in two separate areas, but the main level bed and bedding were uncomfortable. The separate downstairs and 2nd bedroom doesn't heat up and stay very cold if you have to utilize it which we did with 4 adults. The balcony is very nice and has a great view, parking is easy. I still do not understand why we had to leave cash for the tax and it wasn't billed through the VRBO system. Very inconvenient to have to……

“Overall, the property worked for our needs. The address listed is actually to the rental property office, but the exact house. So it’s a bit farther out of downtown than it seems, but we had a car and it seemed public transport was close by. Showers are quite small, but normal for Europe. Beds are very firm,but fine for a short trip. Kitchen has basic essentials. We had to wash some of the bedding when we arrived on two beds as they smelled used and sweaty. Only one set of towels per guest and……

“The house is well situated for visiting the country via bus/train. Pascal gave us his advice on where to go & what to see, depending on the weather and/or crowds. I have stayed in many VRBO homes over the years and this house is probably the cleanest I have had the pleasure to rent.”

“Bijzonder compleet huisje, werkelijk alles is er. Het uitzicht is echt prachtig en de tuin is goed onderhouden. We hebben er een fijne tijd gehad en heel veel in de bergen gewandeld.”

We took advantage of the fondue sets and made an amazing dinner at home away from the crowded restaurants. The beds were so comfortable and we all slept great. “The photos of the property do not do it justice. It is FANTASTIC. We celebrated my 60th birthday with a trip to our beloved Grindelwald. My 86 year old dad traveled with us. We got a hotel by the train station (the Derby) at which we've enjoyed staying on previous trips. He would not have handled the 45 steps to Chalet M very well. The steps are worth the effort, however, as the views are spectacular. The walk from the Terminal is lovely if not steep :). We had a fabulous time at Chalet M and……

“We stayed at this property from May 9-15th, 2024! It’s on a hill so you have a breathtaking views all around you. Its a very modern, clean and fully equipped studio apartment. We had everything we could literally asked for. The view s of Lake Thun and surrounding mountains were unbeatable! We loved every second of our stay! The host Klara is exceptionally wonderful! She was super friendly, warm, welcoming, helpful and fun person. She will make sure you have the best time and give all the……
