“Fabulous continental breakfast, comfy beds, friendly and hospitable hosts. I wish we’d had the time to have dinner in the Bistro as the menu looked really good! Perfect stay, very highly recommended. ”

“The Prince Consort is a nice local pub which also has rooms for bed and breakfast. I enjoyed the full English breakfast, which included very good quality bacon and sausages and all the usual ingredients. The coffee was especially delicious. I was visiting for a family funeral which was catered for there too. The buffet for the wake was also very good.”

“When we arrived at the Griffin, to our surprise, our reservation was canceled. Apparently, the Griffin had a water leak and were in the process of repairing the damage. They said that an email was sent to us canceling our reservations 2 days prior. We were on a cruise at the time and did not get this email because we had no service while on the cruise. It was a very unfortunate situation. We are from the USA and found out upon arrival in England that our cell phones were not working properly so……

“Nicely converted stables tucked away in a lovely position. Although just off the main road, we could not hear the traffic noise. Lovely grounds, peaceful and tranquil. The rooms are conveniently opposite the granary where breakfast was laid out. Great selection for a continental breakfast - cheeses, meats, fruits, cereals, breakfast bars, a variety of breads too. Jean is absolutely lovely. She kept us amused and nothing was too much trouble.”

“Great quiet location only a few mins from Hythe. Had two relaxing nights sleep with tasty fresh cooked breakfast in the morning. Will be booking again for my next training courses at FireAid. Thank you for dropping my T-shirt that I left behind into the reception, very kind :) ”

“The check in was difficult & took a long time to figure it out since there is no one on the site. WiFi was not working even after many back & forth chats but the apartment was in a good location close to city center & it was clean.”
