“They need more tubes or they need to not let children keep their tube after going down the slides, watched many kids have to wait for 30 minutes to get a tub. Witnessed a few moms chewing out the poor life cards over the situation and they didn't do anything about it other than apologize. They're probably not in the situation to make the rules up but something needs to come down from higher up. ”

“If you are attending a wedding at either of the two large wedding venues in the vicinity, this place is the absolute perfect location. We were very comfortable and the kitchen is large enough to cook a meal for many with ample seating around the table. The living room couch is comfortable and can seat a crowd. Soooo much more comfortable than a hotel. Very peaceful setting.”

“Invited our family to share Wild West Days with us. We all found this perfectly imperfect cabin to be on a sandy bottom lake, with easy fishing, and fabulous views. The comfort of grandpa’s cabin in every aspect. It was like grandpa was at home and lended you his cabin. It was stocked with the swim trunks you forgot to pack. The shallow lake gets warmer early, go swimming!! The dock is perfect for fishing. The canoe and 2 man paddle boat were perched waiting for us to slip them into the water.……

“Overall a great venue. Quiet except for the large barking dog upstairs occasionally. The amenities could use an update. This was supposed to sleep 4 but there was only one hand towel and 2 wash cloths. There were 8 towels that appeared to come from the owner's house after years of use (threadbare). There were only 3 coffee cups and mismatched glasses (4) and silverware. There was 1 kitchen towel. The entry carpet was thin and curled up on the corner creating a safety hazard. “The Lakeside Getaway was in a great location for a friends trip we planned. We chose it for the size of beds, and number of bathrooms, (3 adult couples' trip) in addition to its location close to our trip event plans. It is in a peaceful quiet neighborhood, and we regretted we could not take advantage of all it had to offer in terms of being near the water.
