A very bad experience with Zurich Marriott. We used Hotel.com rewards to claim a free night at Zurich Marriott Hotel. We booked a room 3 weeks before the trip. We arrived at the hotel in night time, and got told by a very rude hotel manager that they had a system error, did not reserve the room for us and just sent us to another hotel which was located in district 5, far away from the central area. As far as we were told, Zurich Marriott always made over booking. Furthermore, the price differences for the two hotels were almost 40% less.
As we need to travel to another city early next morning, this very much disrupted our plans.
