"Excellent stay, and very well looked after. We were sceptical having read some reviews, but in comparison to similar stays across the country it is in line with expectations. While the furniture in the bedroom was slightly dated, it was spotless, comfy bed, and excellent shower. Air con was great. Pool area was wonderful, especially after a long day. There were some bugs but this is normal considering it is next to the Nile. Didn't put us off getting in during the 45 degree heat! Breakfast...

"Nice hotel to stay in Nubia village which is a must-visit place when you come to Aswan. The only difficult thing was, the only way to get to the hotel is by car or by expensive boat."

"Very good communication with us. Young man who checked us in was friendly and good English. The hotel is on the water but not a well traveled areas yet on the boat docks. We walked on the hill to the small local store for drinks and snacks and paid 1/5 what we had in the past. $1.70 got us 4 drinks, three bags of chips and ice cream! Room was fine, TV didn’t work and they did offer us “upgrade” room for $15 to one with A/C but we were fine in late March without."

"On top of Anakob being extraordinarily unique, the quality of service and comfort was top notch. Tamer was a great communicator through Orbitz and with WhatsApp. He helped me book my driver to Abu Simbel last minute coming off a Nile Cruise tour. Excursions can be booked with Anakob. Just message them about it and Tamer (owner) will help arrange. Upon arrival, their private speedboat was arranged for us to get to Anakob. I will mention that we didn't know what was going on while waiting at KFC...

"My son and I traveled to Aswan from October 28-30 2023. We had a great trip to the entire area and we were very grateful to Fatima and Mohamed who just welcomed us as their own family. Mohamed the driver took us all over the attractions in Aswan, drove us to different shops, restaurants to eat and was always on scheduled to bring us back to Kamel House. "We highly recommend stay at Nubian Farm in Aswan. Manager Mahamood is very welcoming and treat his guests like family. His farm has many pets like dogs, cat, birds, hamster's, chickens, goats, horse and crocodiles too. Kids loved all those pets. Also, his staff and chef is very receiving and fulfill all needs at any time of the day. Another thing we loved is the boat ride between small islands to reach this farm. Sunrise and sunset rides are sooo cool. "
