Love that this is literally across the street from Disneyland. Perfect for taking a break in the afternoon. All the staff were absolutely wonderful, from guest services, housekeeping and valet. We were always met with a smile.

My partner and I booked our stay at the Tropicana last minute and were hopeful because of the reviews. Overall the staff were very kind, the room at first look was very clean but I couldn’t help but notice areas like the bathroom tub were still dirty with lose hairs here and there. Also the appliances weren’t dusted and I found some random beads on the ground. Most of the towels also had dark / black stains on them evens though they’d been wash I’m assuming. I’d say about 4.2/5 stars you can’t complain because of its convenient walkable distance to the Disneyland entrance.

This property is so convenient to the park. Rooms are simple but clean, with comfortable beds and working AC which is so important. We stayed for 6 nights and had no issues at all. Service was great.

The room we had was nice. I think the only thing that was missing was a basic table to sit and eat at. We like using DoorDash when we travel. Everyone had to sit on the bed while eating.

This is our 3rd time staying at the property. I would recommend asking for a 2nd floor room. This was our first time staying on the ground floor and it was very loud. Also, they no longer provide free breakfast. They also used to be great about letting us check in early. Now, its a $50 charge. The costs of everything has gone up so I completely understand but their room rate seems to have gone up as well. I still think its one of the better stays near Disney but just important to know about these changes. I will still plan to stay there again.

Carpet in room wasn’t vacuumed before we arrived. The pull out bed didn’t look very clean, it was grubby. The staff were pleasant and the location was excellent; however, this is a “good neighbor” hotel so you know it has very few empty rooms each night. With that regular income they could keep the place in better shape. The parking fee was ridiculous and comes across as a sneaky cash grab (42.50 per day!). We won’t stay here again, too many other options.
