"Friendly service. Good view because the Hotel is almost on the top of the hill. The server in the restaurant is nice. One morning I rushed to attend the Mass and asked her to pack up my food for later used. Honestly it is not allowed. Once she knew my intention, she was happy to do it for me. I have to say thanks. Furthermore the people working in the reception are also helpful and friendly. Always 😀"

"We really wanted to like this place - it’s a gorgeous, old stone chalet with great photos. Unfortunately, we were met by an unpleasant man who led us to a very small room that had a horrific smell. We tried to air the place out but it didn’t fix the problem. We asked about the smell, assuming that we be moved to a different room, but the man was irritated at our request and gave us a bottle of pine cleaner to pour down the sink drain...and that didn’t fix it. "Good place. Clearly a ski hotel but we stayed in summer so very quiet. Very few guests and staff looked after us well. We ate & drank well in the bar despite being the only ones in there. No parking, as advertised, but street parking plentiful and very close and free - seems safe as very quiet area. Breakfast decent, above average. Solid 3 to 4 star...

"2nd time staying here for skiing and will be back again. Great ski resort, it was very warm (mid Feb) but most runs were in good enough shape and I even managed to find some excellent off piste runs on slushy snow on south facing slopes. Decent array of food of good quality, comfortable room albeit the family room for 4 is a squeeze. The only other negative is in the evening you might be unlucky at the pool eithferal children running wild with no adult supervision although you can't blame the...

"The hotel is located near the center of the city with a walking distance to restaurants, stores and even a large supermarket. There is a parking space next to the hotel (not an official garage). Since we visited out of the high season, we had no problem finding a space. Regarding the employees, some are very kind and some aren't. The air-conditioner in our room wasn't really effective. "The hotel is classed as 2 star and I guess that's about right, but I stayed in a 4 star the day after my stay at Hotel Blu Aran and immediately wished I could go back. It's honest, clean and the staff are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the kitchen could not provide dinner but the receptionist was wonderful and offered a suggestion in town which was one of the best meals I've ever had. The view from the room was idyllic and I have already planned my return next year"

"Overall the experience was great. Walking distance to any of the restaurants, an outdoor store in case you forgot anything and a supermarket. The parking is not at the hotel itself as there are two lots (one north and one south) but you can park in front,check in, drop off your luggage then go park the car. You need to ask for the remote to the air conditioner. My only complaint for the stay is that I wish it had a mini fridge because if I want something cold for an early hike nothing opens...
