“Good place for a short stay. Good location with options for dinning and close to grocery store. The disadvantage is that there is no staff around to help so basically you are on your own. ”

“Hosts very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Close to Stockman’s Hall of Fame and Qantas Founders Museum. They have a courtesy bus and will happily drop you into town or airport / railway station if you ask. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saltbush and Longreach.”

“Cabin was a great place to stay and very clean and comfortable Had a great outlook and was set amongst a great tropical setting The pool was a great way to relax and cool down at the end of the day”

“I really like the vibe at Arts Factory Lodge! It is a beautiful, cozy, friendly and artsy place with a lot of young backpackers. It can get a bit loud at times but there is loads of space and a big kitchen fitting many chefs at one go. Also loved the morning yoga! The dorms only have one ceiling light, no individual lamps or power sockets and the wifi isn’t very good in the rooms. But all in all it was a good stay!”

“Wonderful stay at Zoofari Lodge, Taronga Western Plains Zoo! Our stay exceeded our expectations. We loved being close to the Savannah animals grazing in front of our tent. The food is unique and superb and the staff friendly and helpful. The daily tours provided close up encounters with a number of animal species and staff were caring and knowledgeable! Highly recommend this stay and overall experience. ”

“Mark Studio Apartments are run by Cardiff Executive Apartments. There is no reception area. You call them on arrival and they text you details. We received alternative accomodation details in Jesmond which was off putting. We called back and not understanding why the change, we insisted on our original booking which they reluctantly gave us. The accomodation was as described and we parked on the property for free. The only downside was noise from some of the permanent residents late at night and……

“Leuke plek in/op de rand van Byron Bay. Paar minuten wandelen naar het centrum. Gelegen in de natuur, tussen de bomen en jungle. Veel beestjes op het terrein, water dragons en kalkoenen. Michael en Charlie zijn zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het is in de jungle gelegen, dus je hebt wat beestjes in en om de cottage. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. ”

“We booked the deluxe king room. Well we got quite a surprise when we opened the door at it was soooo small. It had a microwave so I assumed when I was packing that there would be some crockery and cutlery but no, there was only teaspoons and cups! thankfully the bed was very comfortable and the towels (no face washer) were beautiful and soft and large.”

“We stayed for one night, perhaps that's why they put us to the furthest room in the lodge. We are of a minimum of 20-min walk away from the main building, which is pretty much where everything (restaurants, activities, free wifi) is... My boyfriend slipped over wet floor twice on our way to restaurants... No wifi in room. Room very small and no river view given the price. Breakfast so so. Staff are very helpful but didn't mention that the complimentary guided walk requires prior booking when I……

“Fantastic accommodation deep in the world’s oldest rainforest. 7 secluded cabins reached by boardwalks. Bathroom with a glass wall facing the forest. Comfortable, well kept rooms. Restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, nice food. Very nice staff. Cassowaries and feral pigs in the immediate vicinity. Frogs and toads croaking through the night. A truly magical place to be!”

“Dinner was great. All in all, a good concept. It would be nice to have a cooled place to escape the heat (39°-41°). It was definitely too hot to stay in the tent during the day and also in the dining area it was too warm.”
