"The room was sunny and clean, all white, with a nice kitchenette on one wall. Location is great for walking to restaurants, canal, shopping, etc. One issue is proximity to church which rang bells every 15 min all day (about 8AM to 10PM). Biggest problem was communication with host. Email instruction was to announce arrival and I would be met at door. I contacted by what's app from station and again at door. "We loved our time spent at Carmo’s home in Aveiro. She was very thoughtful, and left some local treats and beautiful sunflowers for our enjoyment. Our infant also slept very well in the provided crib, which is quite a feat! The house is just a quick walk to the city center, and we were also able to enjoy Costa Nova and Coimbra while there as well! Carmo was responsive to our questions, and was so gracious and accommodating. Thank you so much for opening up your home to us!"

"We had such an amazing time staying at Jorge and his wife’s property. The pool was amazing and sitting by the pool in the evening visiting with family was awesome. The family made use of the pool table and the froze ball game. We swam and really enjoyed it. My husband is from around that area and we have decided to stay there again if Jorge will have us"

"Really great property, quiet area. Carlos, our host, was very helpful, gave us lots of ideas for places to see & a little insight of life in Portugal. Lovely pool. lots of outside space. "Fabulous home in a beautiful, serene valley. You will definitely feel the love when you arrive here. We were greeted by the whole family bearing, wine, charcuterie, and a pineapple upside down cake. It is always such an honor to stay in one of these family homesteads. Lots of space, beautiful décor, amazing landscaping and views of the village. Enjoy a walk along the river in the flowers and vineyards. This is a great place to relax."

"The house has a good location, close to the beach and to the city, with all services and shops near. We went by bus from Lisbon to Mira and got an taxi to the house. The accommodations are very nice. We had just a problem with clogging of toilets, but the owner went there on next day with products for us to use on it. The thermoaccumulator size is not enough for 12 people to take shower straight, so we had to organize turns for it along the day. In general we liked a lot to stay on the house."

"The condo was absolutely beautiful and fresh. Fernando was an amazing host. The toen is beautiful and the people friendly and accommodating. Great restaurants in this area. We could hear the beach waves from the condo. It was soothing and calming. The beach is magnificent! The condo is well equipped. Grocery within walking distance. Totally enjoyed our stay ... perfect piece of heaven."
