"The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. "I am from North Orange county but never knew about this hotel and I am so glad that found out and went ! It is super beautiful place that make you feel like you arrived in Spain. Nice pool area for family and kids also. Super recommended you won't regret. Also reasonable pricing."

"This is a fabulous and fun hotel. The location is two blocks from the Grand Central Market which has great, diverse and affordable food options. My 9 year old daughter and I were visiting and I felt she staying there, loved the history and the ambiance. Highly recommend."

"The highlight of this place for us was the location - a very easy 5 minute walk to old town, and also Macy’s in the other direction. The room size is fine and as expected. There was a fridge and microwave which was a bonus we were not expecting. The air con worked well. Shower temperature and pressure were good. On the down side, the bathroom had a strong urine smell but since you couldn’t smell it in the main room, we didn’t bother reporting it as we had already made ourselves comfortable....

"I absolutely loved this hotel. It was pretty clean for an old building. It has that old historic feel to it and the hotel throughout look really cool. A lot of the stuff is pretty outdated but that is okay because I think it is supposed to look that way because of the history behind the hotel and it adds to the charm of the history.
